what is the meaning of this? (HV 6.0 release notes)
i'm asking becauase i was thinking to do FSM maging but i want to be sure what i have to proc to make the more effective i can my holy spells... should i use purge or banish? or better conserve mana using single target spells?
holy infusions still add damage to spells?
slow+poison+weaken+bewilder is enough to withstand and llimit its attacks, even without mitigation equip?
obviously i will invest some AP in dark mitigation

It just means if you proc breached defense with banish, and then hit the same monster with pestilence, now breached defense's explosion will cause holy damage instead of dark damage.

FSM's attack is so weak right now that you don't need mitigation gear. Nor do you need to invest AP in dark mitigation.
Using banish is always the best choice, as you can save much more mana from recasting supportive spells.
At your level I think you only need holy infusion(add 25% damage) to speed things up, but if you want to finish it within 1 minute, use flower vase, then use bubble gum.
Use heaven-sent or heimdall, cast all supportive/depreciating spells (weaken, poison, slow, blind, nerf, haste, SV, AF, spark of life are my choices)
Of course, if you're talking about regular fights against FSM, you can try using the above spells only. I can't guarantee immediate success though.

So i'm taking it that when I reach level 100 i should invest into the soul ability's?
What mage equipment should I buy?

You may invent into soul harvest, but I don't find any use at your level except beating real life.
It's just too offensively inefficient.

Maging? Pass lv.100, get a destruction staff, start finding some EDB phase for the element of your choice.
Some high level elementalist maybe a good fill-in, but it will never be a long-term solution.

Another impulse Bazaar buy but this time it was just out of intrigue. Because I found an item that did not have any quality prefix that's listed. It's not Crude, Fair, Average, Fine, Superior, Exquisite, Magnificent, or Legendary.

It's an old prefix that got merged with Crude some patches ago.
It was the lowest obtainable grade.

Figured as much. I like it though, it makes me think of waving around a piece of foil folded into a blade.

I received a gift from a monster that hasn't won any battles yet.
According to the wiki the formula for gift chance is:

Gift chance (%) = Hours elapsed since last check * Battles won since last gift

So in this case it should be: 24*0=0%
Zero chance.

Am I missing something?

Don't worry, since it counts the battles won since last gift instead of battles won since last check, there's not much harm in checking often. In fact if your monster isn't winning super frequently it's almost better to check as close to every hour as you can because there's always at least a 1% chance of finding something even if you haven't won a single battle (assuming you waited at least 1 hour before checking).

That feeling when I literally dance through rounds evading attacks and wiping mobs in a single blow. Shade rocks.

I'm finding myself ignoring all the arenas below Endgame, because by then I'm out of stamina.

Once I get my hath perks though...then it'll be a different story. Just need my autocast slots and a Rainbow aura...

You gain proficiency from the spell you cast, not the proc.

Unfortunately I don't know, or I haven't noticed that, because my holy prof. and dark prof. are maxed now, and I can't think of a way to properly test it.
It doesn't matter anyway, since there's no point using only holy (or dark) spells only at your level. If you use pestilence and purge/banish alternatively, you can easily clear rounds and gain tons of forbidden/divine prof.
The only drawback is that it requires tons of mana.

I never tried nerf, but I use spirit shield with poison and weaken.

Slow is awesome in this patch, more so if you using stun weapon. If you have AP left (i.e. maxed overcharge) and doesn't know what skill you should learn, get it.

I am going to max out OC in 4 LVs.

If you really have AP to spare, X-Nerf is quite nice. Sometime you get channeling casting something in T&T last round, having X-Nerf to cast in this scenario is not a bad idea. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Other than that, I don't really know what to learn anymore... Spark, maybe? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
