QUOTE(buktore @ Sep 7 2011, 01:08) Wait... Really?! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Man! I have to try this out! :: off to test ::But stunned monsters can't be stunned again. Which means, no permanent stunning. Nevertheless it is still brilliant. However maces don't work too well on giants unless you got an ethereal one. Having giants be resistant to my weapon is well worth being able to crush all the other classes, especially since I can Stun the giants and blow them away.
Probably going to look into mageing eventually though, since it seems melee just gets worse the higher in level they go.

No change to Bleed, but monsters die too fast for it to be decent. Hence maces take center stage now.
And geez, so many Ethereal Maces popping out of the woodwork.

I don't have an ethereal mace though, this is the one I am using: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=5a9b4b3a27

Well, it does... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Mace seem to be way superior by far, for non school girls marathon, at least... I will testing that soon. QUOTE(Madican @ Sep 7 2011, 00:34) And geez, so many Ethereal Maces popping out of the woodwork.
I actually have an extra! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

In case you'd want to sell any of yours, let me know. I might even have use for the Ox one.

Has anyone tried a spirit attack vs a monster that has PA + Stun + Sleep?

I think I did a spirit attack just for fun, over 200K damage? I can be wrong though. Don't think I had PA or stun on.

Are drop rates affected by difficulty?
Also, when Tenboro says "normal drops" are replaced by Crystals in CrysFest, does that include equipment (and for the sake of asking, Collectibles)? Cause I'm seeing that Artifact and Token drops are possible according to Tenboro, but nothing on equipment. Or does "normal drops" encompass everything that can be dropped, and you can get only Crystals from CrysFest?

Drop quality is affected by difficulty. Also crystal drop rates affected by difficulty now (Easy-Normal=1x, Hard-Nintendo=2x,BT-IWBTH=3x). In CrysFest all drops except artifacts and tokens replaced by crystals. This post has been edited by Evil Scorpio: Sep 6 2011, 21:51

I know drop quality is, but what of drop rates? (I'm not talking about the Crystal multiplier given by the difficulty, I'm talking about the chances of dropping a Crystal or anything else in the first place.) But no equipment or Collectibles from CrysFest, hm? Guess I'll have to hope for the best in the Arenas for them then. This post has been edited by HaliZorat: Sep 6 2011, 21:53

No, you need to train either Scavenger or Quartermaster for that. Or Archeologist, if you are interested in Artifacts.
Higher difficulties (allegedly) yield better equipment, but don't count too much on it. I keep getting Exquisites on Normal and Fair/Averages on Nintendo/BT/IWBTH. You should train Luck of the Draw for that.

I personally have 5 LotD and my usual quality of equipment drops are Fine. Had a single Crude a week ago and that's it.

Alright, thanks. Guess I'll go blazing through CrysFest on Easy then. Since Equipment is out of the picture, and I'm pretty sure Crystals, Artifacts and Tokens don't have a quality tied to them, I can just go through round after round to get drops (hopefully getting an Artifact on the way, since I have such awful luck with them), and it consumes less Stamina then any other method of battling. I won't get Credits/Equipment/Collectibles, but eh, I can live with it since I can also do arenas.

Crysfest is a bad idea. Though it says that all drops are replaced by crystals, the actual drop rate is much lower than GF/IW. Meaning you would get more by going through IW or GF and then just buying the crystals you want.

but this depends again on crystal prices in WTB

So, drop rate is actually lower in CrysFest? I thought I was getting fewer drops than usual when I last went into CrysFest, but I just assumed it to be bad luck.
