Some fruitcake got a ethereal estoc of slaughter in combat, something I have never gotten, offering thousands of trophies to the faggot known as snowflake.

Don't cheat, it will hurt you. Only die after both of godly spirit potions got your and you DID NOT MISS REACTIVATING spark of life.

Without spark of life, there's too much left to chance, to calculate the shit out.
You let Spark run out while still having a potion of spirit ? You has fukked up, do it again, no cheating.

Arenas on hard now are way harder than they used to be. It doesn't help when two monsters each use their special attacks which hit me for ~900 damage a piece.

Edit: But then if I toss on my Scythe rather than my Eth Estoc, I dominate through Normal so easily it's not really fun.

Partly because it seems like my Scythe gets WAY more multihits (or, at least, they seem to proc more often), with more enemies hit per multihit. Ex:
7 9 Replenishment restores 17 points of magic.
7 8 Ipocalypse hits you for 78 slashing damage.
7 7 You hit Ipocalypse for 775 slashing damage.
7 6 Redeye has been defeated.
7 5 You hit Redeye for 1135 slashing damage.
7 4 Mutant Peacock has been defeated.
7 3 You crit Mutant Peacock for 2255 slashing damage.
7 2 Naht has been defeated.
7 1 You crit Naht for 1551 slashing damage.

Whereas with my EthEst, usually I'll get about 2-3 monsters/multihit, with maybe one crit, at about 1600-1800 for the crit and 1100-1250 for the other damage. But with my Scythe, I'll get a 3-4 multihit almost every round of Arena (which usually lasts only a few rounds).

I'm not sure, but against your everyday mob with mid to low physical mitigations, I'd probably go for the mace. Just tested it and crap, it's devastating.

Against the mobs with really high physical mitigations, like the high power level mobs and the gods/legendaries/dragons, I think PA would still overall be more damaging than stun damage.

Something went wrong with the equipment shop helper.
Weapon in hand doesn't seem to generate the correct link by pressing "k".

So... Rapier + Axe isn't working out for me very well anymore. I suppose Club + Rapier would work better since Stunned appears better than PA at this point, and having the Rapier on the offhand gives me that parry boost, right?

So, I just picked up some staves that contain some well-known suffixes/prefixes, and I have no idea what values are for them.

They're currently low level, but does anyone have an idea what these staves could be worth if leveled up?

Unfortunately as of now, there are no calculators to determine what these will become.

If you've got a good parry rate on your rapier, then yes. However, if you're going to be dual wielding through arenas, it's going to be a hell of a painful run.

I barely finished Longest Journey with an Average Mace of Slaughter, and I found that even with decently high stun procs across entire groups of mobs, I couldn't take much advantage of it because I was missing so much. Still, I'd like to think that if I was using my scythe as usual, I probably wouldn't have made it to the end at all, as in the later sessions, I'm literally taking 600-1000 damage in total from mobs, even with a kevlar set + shield. I had to use twice the mana potions I usually do to clear it, and even then I probably would've been in big trouble had I run out of mana against that legendary.

I was also very near death at least 3 times in that run, from around 80-90% HP, no less. It's a very risky situation to be doing Arenas without a very healthy supply of mana potions or Spirit shield.

- When countering an enemy, there is now a chance to briefly stun the monster you countered.
-- This chance is equal to the chance of countering the monster in the first place.
-- Wielding a weapon with a stun proc will add the stun probability for the weapon to the counter probability for this roll.
-- Triggering the stun will consume one counter, but can always trigger on the first counter. In other words, below 100 prof you can counter or counter/stun, at 100-200 you can counter+counter or counter/stun, and at 200+ you can counter+counter+counter or counter+counter/stun.
