QUOTE(MiAla @ Sep 1 2011, 19:47) No, I'm using FF. Is there any way to apply it on FF?
Yea. 1. Open FF. 2. Go to google. 3. Download chrome. 4. Install it. 5. Add the autoshrine add-on. Look, it's easy! Only 5 steps! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (now seriously, I use chrome to play HV. It seems to work faster for me than firefox. Maybe my computer's too slow)

Chrome certainly is faster for HV. Also make sure to disable any add-on or feature you won't use. I don't notice any difference with HV STAT on as long as I disable the alerts and in-battle embedded information. QUOTE(MiAla @ Sep 1 2011, 13:47) No, I'm using FF. Is there any way to apply it on FF? Extensions aren't compatible, sadly. If you have to use FF and your mouse has macro support, I guess you could try that : QUOTE(cmal @ May 20 2011, 00:04) I've just been using a macro I programmed on my fancy mouse. I would not recommend using any kind of third-party software to code and run such a macro, though, as it is most likely against the rules even if it doesn't mess with the HV itself.

Most importantly, do not use adblock. While a very necessary tool for most sites, it seems to slow down hentaiverse considerably.

What is the "proper" way to get your monsters to bring gifts? Is there a system or formula some people use?

Well, assuming your monsters are a high enough power level to actually participate in battles and consistently wins a couple battles a day...the formula is battles won x hours since you last visited the monster = percentage. So say your monster won 1 battle in exactly 4 day's time. That's 1 x 96 = 96% chance of your monster bringing you an item. As for the quality, that mostly depends on luck, and how high a power level your monster is.

Huh. That's strange then, since my monster recently brought me a Binding of the Earth-walker and it hasn't won a fight yet.
Guess I'll just gather more crystals. It's almost to the right level where it'll begin appearing.

95 Bleeding Wound hits Susanowo for 318 damage.
I've noticed my bleeding wound hits more than it should. The damage calculation for it is "Combat Damage = Base Damage x (1 + Proficiency/200)", as per EHWiki. However, at my current level I can only access 210 of the bleeding wound damage my scythe provides (I've noticed bleeding wound seems to be more efficient than void w/ armor penetration in cakegrinding). Using the formula, with 52.59 2h proficiency, I should get 265 bleeding wound damage.
Did the formula for bleeding wound change or something?

It is "Base Damage x (1 + Proficiency/100)" now.

"Now" since when, actually?

Hey guys,
I just hit level 220 and got DESTROYED during the End of Days arena >.< Do you have any tips on how to beat it? I'm currently using a heavy armor setup with a 2H Katana with full mana elixirs and Pack Rat upgrades. Thanks!

mmm
1. make sure you're on normal difficulty your first run through - for completion's sake 2. i assume you're melee, make sure you carry dark or light infusions along with wind infusions (have at least 2 infusion slots) 3. spirit shield + weaken + nerf (rest is up to you)
as for method of approach. i'm not too sure what to say... i haven't melee-ed through before but i imagined if you melee, you could: 1. slaughter mace through the place with some nice light gear like shade/kevlar 2. slaughter estoc through with gg shade/kevlar 3. dual weild through with nice leech procs on weapons to keep yourself self sustained
most mages find it easy but tedious because we can ET through so we can start each round with full stats if we really want to. same can't be said for melee unless you're stacking leech procs <- i'm not too sure on their reliability though

We may need to sort out the problem first. When you mean you're destroyed, what exactly happened? Mana running out? Not enough spirit? How many damage you're dealing each round? What spells you're keeping? I will be interested to see if someone can beat EOD with heavy armor, because I haven't seen anyone who can beat it without light+estoc or mage build. I don't want to rule out the possibility right now. This post has been edited by varst: Sep 2 2011, 06:48

yeah i can't really imagine how the heavy would work. the -prof hurts like a bitch and imo, spells are vital to taking out the girls
i guess if someone was really really badass they could mace through that shit with some gg power gear

i agree that good power armor of slaughter + OC + soul stone + good estoc might work, though there's no guarantee. By the way, speaking of good power armor, it's what I just picked from bazaar Average power armor of slaughterLow level with truely remarkable ADM. I might level it up some day. nice +str too
e: and i don't know about the mace vs estoc. i can see estoc + shade since those 2 seem pretty compatible but not too sure what the best weapon of chioce would be for a full power gear. seems too "slow" to take advantage of estoc

Looks like I'm switching to kevlar earlier than I thought then with how this talk went. Get it out of the way now and let the profession level up before it becomes critical.

I will pick estoc over mace if I have to make that choice. Mace's stun is good only for those IWBTH runs which every hit will be lethal. Otherwise, it will be damn slow when compared with estoc. Also, the heavy burden of heavy armor means the stun proc (max 4 turns) is more likely to wear off than PA proc (max 7 turns) There should be other choice though. How about dualwield with club+rapier? That should be perfect fit for power armor against gods. Club has the highest ADM among all one-handed weapons, stun is at least useful, off-hand rapier with high PA proc utilize the high ADM from club+power armor. And you don't need bleeding against legends as it's always too slow.
