QUOTE(Cronauron @ Sep 1 2011, 07:03) I believe the posting bonus is 100%, but I'm not certain. I do know that the effect of each post is valid for 24 hours, and has nothing to do with the dawn event.
Edit: It takes 10 posts to get the full bonus, just clarifying.
<----noob Oh my god. I'm level 208 and am just how learning about the posting experience bonus. I always wondered why people bothered with those spam threads x-P

I had no idea about that concept up until today. Actually I think this was a bad idea to implement this. Does Luck of the draw affect the Trophies lewt?

I don't believe it does. I was trying to find the Tenboro post where he talks about LotD but can't remember where I saw it. But this game is always changing so maybe I'm mistaken... I know that doesn't help a whole lot (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

I wonder if I should simply /jettison them to Akara.

Post bonus: QUOTE(Mika Kurogane @ Aug 15 2011, 19:43) Caps at 100% for 10 posts. It's a daily bonus. It's also additive with the XP Boost ability and the Adept Learner training, so it will make those other two look less impressive if you train them. You may want to check this thread as well. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE(Rei-Tenshi @ Aug 15 2011, 20:21) So... did it really get changed to only 10 posts to max the bonus? QUOTE(Tenboro @ Aug 15 2011, 20:28) Yup. QUOTE(sushi0 @ Aug 15 2011, 20:51) A follow-up question. Does the bonus get reset with the dawn event or lasts within 24 hours of your last post? QUOTE(Tenboro @ Aug 15 2011, 23:09) It counts posts made the last 86400 seconds, but it caches the result for an hour. If this is to be trusted, then LotD should affect Trophies as well: QUOTE(Tenboro @ Oct 28 2010, 14:31) QUOTE(Alpha 7 @ Oct 28 2010, 13:41) Stupid question time: Are Shrine Trophy redemptions considered "drops" (and therefore guaranteed a suffix)? Yes. It's actually only equipment generated by the equipment store that's restricted to not have them.

Thanks. But! I assume the difficulty DOES affect the loot quality for the items that drop in combat, right? So we atually get some "multiplier" for an item quality for those BUT there is no such multiplier @ trophy turn-in (otherwise it would be just too easy: switch to IWBTH @ shrine, voila), only LotD?

As far as I know, nothing affects trophies besides their own bonus to the loot quality roll when turned in. Not even a karma shot to Snowflake beforehand. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

coredumperror's Autoshrine add-on may help a bit if you are using Chrome. This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: Sep 1 2011, 13:45

Yea. 1. Open FF. 2. Go to google. 3. Download chrome. 4. Install it. 5. Add the autoshrine add-on. Look, it's easy! Only 5 steps! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (now seriously, I use chrome to play HV. It seems to work faster for me than firefox. Maybe my computer's too slow)

Chrome certainly is faster for HV. Also make sure to disable any add-on or feature you won't use. I don't notice any difference with HV STAT on as long as I disable the alerts and in-battle embedded information. QUOTE(MiAla @ Sep 1 2011, 13:47) No, I'm using FF. Is there any way to apply it on FF? Extensions aren't compatible, sadly. If you have to use FF and your mouse has macro support, I guess you could try that : QUOTE(cmal @ May 20 2011, 00:04) I've just been using a macro I programmed on my fancy mouse. I would not recommend using any kind of third-party software to code and run such a macro, though, as it is most likely against the rules even if it doesn't mess with the HV itself.

Most importantly, do not use adblock. While a very necessary tool for most sites, it seems to slow down hentaiverse considerably.

What is the "proper" way to get your monsters to bring gifts? Is there a system or formula some people use?

Well, assuming your monsters are a high enough power level to actually participate in battles and consistently wins a couple battles a day...the formula is battles won x hours since you last visited the monster = percentage. So say your monster won 1 battle in exactly 4 day's time. That's 1 x 96 = 96% chance of your monster bringing you an item. As for the quality, that mostly depends on luck, and how high a power level your monster is.

Huh. That's strange then, since my monster recently brought me a Binding of the Earth-walker and it hasn't won a fight yet.
Guess I'll just gather more crystals. It's almost to the right level where it'll begin appearing.

95 Bleeding Wound hits Susanowo for 318 damage.
I've noticed my bleeding wound hits more than it should. The damage calculation for it is "Combat Damage = Base Damage x (1 + Proficiency/200)", as per EHWiki. However, at my current level I can only access 210 of the bleeding wound damage my scythe provides (I've noticed bleeding wound seems to be more efficient than void w/ armor penetration in cakegrinding). Using the formula, with 52.59 2h proficiency, I should get 265 bleeding wound damage.
Did the formula for bleeding wound change or something?

"Now" since when, actually?
