Man, I could sure boost my magic spell prof grinding with some proper cloth gear... any ideas on what cheap starter gear I should grab?

What about 1h mage? Its very cheap if you have good shield. Elemental weapons is very popular and any is ok, because you need mostly only edb from that. Even legendary waki is usually 50k in auc if you wanna something slightly stronger. Besides that its or any 5 phases or mixing with forged legendary cloth. Seems last time even very good legendary prof cloth cost not higher than 50-100k if its ordinary resistance prefix. You ll spend much for for forging it.

UPD. But it works only with imperil. Hovewer, its probably not a problem, because you have high enough level.

if you don't need firepower go with Mag Cotton. they are both cheap to purchase and forge, if needed.

Actually it is a thing modern economy basics, - one is selling for one price, other buying it and reselling for bigger price, and on and on toward to end-user.
I dislike stuff like this, but not hate them or so. This is economy - deal with it xD

reselling has always been and will always be a source of incoming. the most we can do is to check if newbies are involved, in which case it may be scamming.

the latest reloader I maintain forked from dan31's beta reloader,

I'm just spamming spells, I need to boost mana like crazy and knock spell costs as far down as possible so I can just spam spam spam. Using weapons (aside from simply wielding a staff) gets in the way of spamming. Or does it?

use Mag Cotton armors and forge WIS and profs. forging them won't require HG Cloth until lv25 and meanwhile you may acquire them for 20k each - provided you already don't own them. no need for phazons and you will even be able to burn a lot of LGs (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

as for staff, go for a staff of proficiency in what you want to boost.no need for it to be prefixed, or even Ethereal may work.

btw, which prof do you need to raise?

The normal, non-vanilla reloader is reloader with tons of built in features in it.

Vanilla reloader is only the reloader, no extra features.
The latest one by simrock87 incorporates a feature that allows it to be used with other scripts; it's more modular.
This allows other script authors to make a script that works with either with or without reloader, not just strictly with or without it.
The vanilla one also works as native userscript ( no tampermonkey ), which is faster than if it was run with tampermonkey.
