I would assume so.

@roadgray nope hasn't happened to me. you may have misclicked accidently and unequipped your weap? or are you on another set of equip where you're weaponless?

@koudesu not sure but i was given the impression it resets at dawn of new day and 10 posts a day gives you roughly same exp bonus as 100 levels of adept learner

That's what makes it weird. In slot one I have light armor set in the second heavy armor set and in the third a mage setup. Maybe I wanted to try something when I was sleep-deprived and forgot about it.
I guess I'll make it a habit to check my equipment before going into battle.

Or be like me and answer some questions while sprinkling the "spammy" ones for a couple hours, without posting too fast, until I'm ready to start arenas.

Quick question about Poison, since I'm going to have to take on the gods Real Life, Unicorn, and Spagetti Monster.

What is its damage based off of, and is it worth using in battles like those?

Very yes. It slows down their regeneration and evasion rate, meaning you hit them more and they can't use their powerful attacks often.

the wiki is accurate for the poison damage formula at the moment. something like % base hp along with some weak damaga bonus from proficiency.

So it scales off HP and not spell damage? Interesting.

Recent patch notes says that poison does Dark damage.

It seems I have a dilemma regarding training. I have Adept Learner just above above lv50, and I'd like to bring up something else.

I currently have lv6 Ability Boost, lv8 Scavenger, and lv1 Archaeologist. I don't know if I should bring up one of these three, continue on AL, or unlock an aura slot while I have the chance. I have about 61,000 credits right now.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

From what I've read, the ideal drop perks are as follow.

10 in Scavenger
5 in Luck of the Draw
4 in Quartermaster
2-3 in Archaeologist

That's my current setup and it works nicely. Lots of potion drops, good number of crystals, and equipment isn't too rare. Just recently finished off Archaeologist though, so haven't seen the fruits of that yet.

I believe the posting bonus is 100%, but I'm not certain. I do know that the effect of each post is valid for 24 hours, and has nothing to do with the dawn event.

Edit: It takes 10 posts to get the full bonus, just clarifying.

I've had cases where I'd forgotten I'd switched equipment sets and entered endgame arenas with dual wielding.....clubs......

I did some snooping around the forums and I still don't really see a clear answer as to how the forum posting -> exp bonus works. All I know so far is 10-15 posts gives you a significant exp bonus, but I'm not sure how long it lasts for.

Each post gives 10% bonus of base experience. Most exp bonuses work off base and separate from each other, so +100% from aura, +100% from posts means a total of 300% (base 100% and then the other two bonuses added separate from each other). The only exception seems to be the organized mind hath perk.
This posting bonus maxes out at 10 posts, for 100% bonus.
It counts your posts made during the last 24 hours, and as such is not related to the dawn of a new day.

Based off the monsters base hitpoints and your proficiency in deprecating magic, at least according to the wiki.
Base hitpoints means it doesn't increase with difficulty level, which gives a bonus to it's base.

And IMO it does decent damage, but it also lasts a long time and more importantly, it also halves their mana and spirit regen, meaning they can't use their special attacks as often.

And for my own question to the experts.
I'm using a mace, is it worth it going with -of balance, for higher crit and better accuracy, or are the increases of accuracy so small that it isn't worth it compared to -of slaughter for total damage?
Also counting in the fact that higher hit chance and crit chance means a increased chance of stunning a mob every time you attack?
(Which is real nice when you get domino strikes).

And for my own question to the experts.

I'd say go for Slaughter, or at least Ox weapon.
