QUOTE(Fap.Fap @ Feb 28 2016, 14:52) just one word "Opera"
why arent you trying it out? its by far the fastest browser...
Because it uses the same rendering engine as chrome. It would be very strange if it offered different results (rendering and js engine are the same).

nope , IE is the fastest here for me ~ it's bad because no scripts available for IE ~ (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) well , chrome/iron is faster than opera for me (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I though the max server allow was 3 t/s? QUOTE(Fap.Fap @ Feb 28 2016, 21:52) just one word "Opera"

Well, I tried it before and it really isn't noticeably faster, the interface seems more responsive but t/s is more or less the same

opera is a great browser. i've used it for such a long time, since v5-6 or so (when you still needed the serial, just to be clear). sadly it hasn't the same script support of other browsers like Firefox, otherwise it'll be a pure beast. QUOTE(Sapo84 @ Feb 28 2016, 15:00) Because it uses the same rendering engine as chrome. It would be very strange if it offered different results (rendering and js engine are the same).
nope, Opera has a [ en.wikipedia.org] proprietary engine, the Presto engine. or at least it was ths way when i still used it... QUOTE(LOL50015 @ Feb 28 2016, 15:27) Shit and here I though I was hitting the ceiling, I guess I'm going browser hunting too.
it was ages ago. now it's hardcapped. QUOTE(TygerTyger @ Feb 28 2016, 15:27) How would I find the base roll of level unassigned equipment?
https://ehwiki.org/index.php?title=Equipmen...amp;oldid=31654something like that. if you're looking for armors, select a similar date in the respective pages

They have switched to Blink/V8 since at least 2 year. And that's a fucking good thing (1 less browser to test websites on).

do you have to test websites? in such case, i guess you know there are software like [ www.lunascape.tv] Lunascape which allow you to switch between all rendering engines with a simple click

Opera 12 was the best (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) yep. it's also the last version that i have installed on my old XP. not because it cannot support a newer one, but because i'd have so many datas to migrate that it gives me a headache just to think about it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) speaking of which, does opera 15+ still support JS scripts natively?

QUOTE(TygerTyger @ Feb 28 2016, 17:01) How do I calculate it on a piece? I can't use the equipment script.
sorry, but there's something i don't understand. you can always find the base stat of a gear by hovering your mouse on such stat. you have to calculate it only if there's IW/forge involved. then, eventually compare it with those table if you want to see how good the item was. just to give you an example, let's take this axe. scaled ADB = 1568 (at my level). base ADB = 65.72, that back then was roughly MMax

Well, websites now know what browser you're using. I sometimes get the display "your browser is obsolete, please install the latest version of one of the following..." when using it... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) This post has been edited by boulay: Feb 28 2016, 18:29

QUOTE(boulay @ Feb 28 2016, 17:29) Me too, I have 300+ bookmarks to check and transfer to firefox (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) and all the sessions. and Wand's passwords. ouch... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) install AdMuncher and you will earn two results: - all the ad is gone. puff! 8GB spared within four months (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) only aftermath, some sites tell you "many thanks. now all our efforts are in vain. you're a bad person and you should feel bad" or such (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
- you can set "user agents" field, making a website think you have a certain browser. too lazy to check if you can actual faking your browser's request this way, but i guess you do
