well i'm giving it to him so they can use it at a later level, leveling from 100 --> 200 is really quick (even for a mage)
It's also really hard to find ex + weapons that are leveled between 100 - 200 from item shop from my experience. some weapon to fall back on at a later level is better than none.

There is huge problem here. In mdb potency case we have low difference in every spell. In resist cases its not so common, but difference becomes 2x times or higher. So we cant compare both as average damage. We have to check it as additional turns in every situation.

Lets say we have:
Monster with 200k hp, 75% mmi and 20% resist.
3900 mdb, 320 edb, 45% crit, and 10% damage perk.

Turns to kill monster ~2,91
With 10% mdb bonus ~2,65

With 18% resist ~2,82
16% ~2,72
14% ~2,62

So, indeed without imperil thats not so good. We need around 27% counter-resist to get same result as mdb against that monster.
UPD. I also decided to check for low defense monster.

120k hp, 65% mmi and 20% resist.
Mdb ~1,647 turns
18% ~1,72
16% ~1,66
Slightly better, because 20 counter-resist here is close. But more or less same result. Weak monsters isnt so important.

Looks like your provider's DNS blacklisted the site's IP.

Or it just went bonkers and throws random errors while trying to resolve addresses.

Have you tried a public DNS, like Google's?

Change your DNS server you are using? Try using openDNS(208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220) or googleDNS(8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4)

That must be one horrible place to be in, i'm sorry.
The only probably way is to use a VPN (which you already have) Or you could try adding this line to your host file (not sure if it will work, remember to flush your DNS cache after adding the entry.)

I am currently there. Sites with pornography are blocked in a somewhat intrusive way, and with a probably unmaintained blacklist.
Even sites like reddit and imgur is blocked, but funnily enough, while EH is blocked, sadpanda isn't (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Every dns requests are intercepted and checked, regardless of which dns server you use. The info page shown when a site is blocked is filled with tons of ads too ._.
I'm currently using dnscrypt to get over it. Results in higher latency though. I miss europe latency (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif).
Not sure if hosts will work, will give it a try — edit — didn't work...

Your first sentence (??) doesn't make sense, but no one can count on ever getting Peerless. It is too rare. Very very few players have ever gotten one, and those that have are usually level 450+ who clear rounds in a couple seconds, I'd bet.

I just had to teach a level 360-370 player how to cast buffs. It seems he did not know they existed before.

I am still using scrolls, it's the only way my mage can clear PFUDOR, and I have not got the patience for levelling. I need to get to 400 ASAP.

I didn't learn about casting spells until level 150 or so. The guides aren't very clear. It wasn't until I saw a youtube video that I realised I had to place them and cast them that way. I didn't know how to use spirit for a while as well.

Your script works well now but I still get NaN errors and HV counter plus is gonna need a few more days before it tells me my stamina usage.
