If you use firefox, use [www1.plala.or.jp] http://www1.plala.or.jp/tete009/en-US/software.html find the old ver v42. Its the fastest ver that compatible with the latest greasemonkey. And much faster than the latest official firefox of course.

Older versions of Chrome (or Chrome-based browers such as Iron and portable Chrome) run much faster than Firefox and don't have flicker issue.

I use Portable Chrome v36 (pc) and Iron v35 (vps).
They don't need Tampermonkey to install userscripts.

Not sure exactly how to train (see below). I pretty much only do random encounter (the arena/ ring of blood 1st clear, I don't clear them more than once because only 1k c bonus). Any reason not to max out adept learner? I'm using 2H light armor (so most abilities are useless) i.e., don't need ability boost. Any other suggestion would be appreciated.

Train Adept Learner to ~100-150.
Train Ability Boost as much as possible unless you have no more active abilities to upgrade.
Train Pack Rat as your item consumption dictates. Same goes for And A Scholar and Tincture.
Train 2-4 ranks of Assimilator if you are power-leveling. If you've reached the proficiency cap in anything then don't train it further.
Keep Scavenger, Archaeologist, LotD, and Quartermaster balanced cost-wise.
Set Collector isn't useful until much later on (when you have enough equipment and want to try different play styles).

Yes.

Only those who play quite a lot can justify the later trainings. There are those who try to train as much as they can just for the sake of it, but don't play anywhere near enough for it to ever pay off; they are falling into the boss's trap, and you don't want to be one of those people (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Without killing a decent number of monsters, there's next to no income from drops, and if there's next to no income from drops, then investing in drop training to increase that minuscule amount is a sunk cost. HV slim works best for me. Minimal slow and you can play it as melee hover as well.

As lazy melee I use Dan31 reloader, but it shows only credits/exp (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I think you might be remembering ssss2's, but he deleted the public version so all we can see is screenshots.

For analyzing the value of drops, I frequently use Income Summary, though it's only for credits and items. (it's not like there's much chance of equips being worth anything at our level (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)) It's all calculated outside of battle, so ordinary play isn't slowed down at all. It also gives you more freedom because you can choose when to save/compare inventory rather than being limited to a single battle series, so you could check income from all arenas in sum, or everything during a day, etc.



Of course, this is just drop tracking, which is different from something melee-specific helping you kill monsters faster.

Yes, there's a higher chance, though it's for high-quality in general rather than for weapon. PFUDOR clear will give a guaranteed Mag+ clear bonus. No other arena has such a nice bonus.

Drop tracking would be ok as it was what I liked in HV Stat. However I don't look for what it is worth, just what I'm getting (like equipment, draughts, crystals, tokens...).

I just downloaded 27.0.1500.0 (201000) from [download1.srware.net] here and it worked fine. Not sure what the problem is, unless you're using something like Reloader that doesn't fire scripts on new Ajax since the browser thinks it's on the same page.
