I tried to make the count of niten clears.
Picked the IW of a legendary weapon that gave 79 rounds.
Niten/light straight out clear.
3868 turns
61649511 exp / 2944 credits
Niten/light with imperil in every turn.
2871 turns
61802453 exp / 3155 credits
niten/heavy with imperil in every turn.
2474 turns
62259757 exp / 2877 credits
1H/heavy IW on the same piece.
4366 turns
61260473 exp / 2905 credits
The weapons used for the clears have been all balance.
katana /
waki /
rapierNo spirit stance or OFC were used for any of these clears.
I got a level compared to yesterday, but i don't think 1 level only makes any great difference in the monster's HP increase.
By the way a normal 1H clear with my
normaly used weapon with spirit stance and ofc is
1) 2632 turns
61902774 exp / 3556 credits
2) 2488 turns
61535907 exp / 2843 credits

One thing though.
If i'm using niten (only niten, not other 2H) i get a gradual loss in speed 100% of the cases i used it.
Almost as if the game can't keep up. Anyone else got this problem?
---
Eitherway, i may have been wrong in part of my previous statement since i came to that conclusion because of 2 details i was remembering wrong, but the problem remains.
I tried several test runs of dw and 2h using the following 2 fire element weapons:
axe for dw /
estoc for 2H.
The
rapier for dw is the same as above.
Naturally they come with thunder protection spell to abuse the proc.
The DW hit chance is 183.6% The 2H hit chance is 191.1%
The amount of times that my attacks miss or are getting parried is more than significant, despite a small count of OP and high enough accuracy.
And that despite thunder shield procs! My niten instead that is more than 220% hit chance never gives me any problems, not in evasions, nor in getting parried.
So i made this tes run:
Used 2x Voidseeker's Blessings on the following 2 weapons.
katana of slaughter and
waki of swiftness.
In short 0 balanced pieces used.
I'll only say that i did not even finish the test run.
So it may be true that a B5/F4 run is the best damage, but at the end you need to land your hits to deal that damage.
Conclusions:
Niten / heavy is probably the best combination for very high level gameplay.
However you either need to IW your weapons with B5/OP4 - F5/OP4 (or even OP5/F4 for the waki),
or you need at least 2 pieces of "balanced" equip. So it's either a nimble waki highly forged towards accurancy or better a balanced wakizashi and one armor piece of balance suffix.
Unfortunately i missed my chance to get my hands on one when on today's lottery i used 1111 tickets for a chance to grab it and won... nothing (IMG:[

Well whatever. Eitherway it doesn't seem like my pc or connection can handle the niten style, so never mind (IMG:[
