QUOTE(jacquelope @ Feb 2 2016, 22:06) At what level? For me that gets me just under 6M on PF diff.
at mine, obviously. i don't keep track of how many EXP other people gain. it's already hard enough to remember a few cup sizes (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE(Epion @ Feb 2 2016, 22:07) Remember that he has visited the bakery (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (cookies, stars, etc). cookies are good. and chocolate too (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

10 mobs on PF at 99 stamina used to give me almost 80M. Now I'm getting half that.

that was prior one of the last patches. all EXP ranges were re-adjusted. however 40M is still a good amount (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

QUOTE(Epion @ Feb 2 2016, 21:44) Anyway a question I wanna ask quite some time now. Godslayer title is ment to give +10.0% Damage, +3% Evade While Dovahkiin nothing. However if i switch the 2 modes i see the evasion changing, but the damage is always the same. Is that normal?
Damage from title works for melee only btw.

How does each mage element compare in terms of efficiency and popularity?
Intuition says Holy is at the top.

I will give you the tl;dr. Elem should be elec > wind > ice > fire. With ice actually being fairly popular. holy > dark. Elem mage is a bit different than holy/dark so they are not really comparable (holy/dark are better for SG arenas and limited to high-level player, so price is pretty high).

All depends on mode and budget. For low diff without imperil holy/dark is significant better. Problems for holy comes with high diff which can be solved by high level/budget, but usually for high diff imperil style elemental is slightly better. Here it also splits. If you ll use willow then elec/wind is significant better (but usually legendary willow staff cost 5-25m), otherwise all is almost completely same. For example, im using fire, because its incredibly cheap style.

When i used a fire estoc to run some tests it felt incredibly slow. On pure mage damage it does not matter that much, or do you simply have too much magic damage?

Speaking of this, what's the preferred IW potency for an estoc?

Imperil reduces mitigation to next to 0, so the difference between elements is really small. Anyway, on my tests fire strike is not so bad (difference is really really small), and the same results can be seen in the Research for 1H by sssss2. Probably Butcher + Overpower.

Melee can see difference quite clearly and thats why all prefer holy strike. Thats not very big in % clearspeed, but at least we can see it. Elemental mage uses imperil and 4+1 set which usually is very close to 75 mitg reduction. In other words monsters defense becomes equal and all elements doing same damage. In theory against ordinary monsters we can use different slots. Its not always possibly and takes time to collect, but gloves --> shoes might be exactly few % mitg reduction drop with edb increase. So something like wind can get slightly higher magic score. But its problems, because that doesnt work against sg and doesnt work against strong monsters. This way for all elemental redwood mages difference in styles is mostly spell procs which isnt very significant. And sure side effects like price and so on.

QUOTE(Paarfi @ Feb 3 2016, 12:10) So, again. Slowly building my holy set. Decided to build 3+2 set starting with cottons I. which one is better in your opinion Magnificent Jade Cotton Cap of the Heaven-sent or Magnificent Cotton Pants of the Heaven-sent? II. Should I even try ro buy something like this, or the price would be 10m+? Thanks in advance. Level 377 one has far higher prof and higher stats in everything but Wis, which is a little lower. It's a lot better than the other one. Peerless price would be very high, even though it's 0.81. If I were you, don't try for that level of maximization until you're at least level 400+ and pretty rich - or at the very least, until you can mage comfortably and do so often enough to justify the expense.
