I think there are people who will try to collect a set just to see how high they can get their block and tankiness. For the rest,

For high-level players 350+, full (Mag+) Power Slaughter is the best because they'll never have to Cure anyway. Defense doesn't matter, so Plate is useless in comparison to the ADB provided by Power Slaughter.

From 250-350 or so, incoming damage will still be high enough to pose a problem, so ideally you'd want some combination of (Mag+) Power Slaughter > (Mag+) Power Protection > (Leg?) Plate Protection. As you level up more and gain more innate toughness from level scaling, you can drop your defensive gears and replace them with Power Slaughter (hopefully), so by the time you get to 330 or 350 or so you have full Power Slaughter.

Plate is OK before 300-something, even if Power Protection is preferable. Even though Shielding Protection is the best possible combination for plate it'll be tough to sell to anyone higher though.

Pretty much, there are too many ifs to make shielding viable.
You need ethereal rapier (otherwise burden will be >70), low defense (full leg power of protection is already tanky enough) and possibly a bucker of the nimble or some other shields with mediocre block.

The "warding" for power and "negation" for shade are the lowest value and utility armor pieces.
When i was looking to change my armor from exquisite to magnificent i would find those at 20k with ease and people would still not buy them.

tbh one Negation piece is quite useful due to the fact all the others shade have low Resist - you may lose a bit of Evade/Crit but you'll earn a good Resist bonus. if it is a high-tier Savage, it's definitely a good shot
as for Warding,with the recent stats revamp it may be interesting for someone with a low budget.

are you sure? you only have one award, so it may be easy to misread one hath difference. check carefully another time the differences between before and after the dawn and then feel free to report it to tenboro in the patch thread, it may be a bug

What is the best perk for 200-250 Hath?

1. 3rd auto cast slot
2. Double Riddlemaster
3. +10% HP
4. +25% EXP
5. +1 Crystall
6. ???

either 1. and 3. are quite good choices

after a certain point Power is pretty much required. your aim should be Slaughter, possibly with Savage prefix. maybe a Savage or Protection may be fine as well to fill a gap.
as for the shield, best results are earned with a Force Shield or a Buckler of the Barrier. as long as there is a high block, prefix and suffix are not that big of a matter

if it is Leg and has good rolls, some collectors may want it. but not used regularly since the gain in block would be quite little and the loss in ADB quite relevant, so don't expect a high price

is there a sheet or something like that, where i can see how much ressources I need to forge a Barrier shield?

Ive seen one, but prefer to count in excel.

Catalyst.
0-13 lvl --> 2500 credits
14-25 lvl --> 5000 credits
25+ --> 10000 credits

Mid-High grade for legendary.
From 0 to 23 lvl --> 84 mg/54 hg. After that each lvl 6 hg. So, if you wanna 30 then 30*6= 180 overall and 180-84=96 hg.

Bindings. 1 each level higher than 5.
Spec. Bind (like dmm) for rare types of gear. In case of buckler its 0.

Overall from 0 to 30:
Catalyst - 142,5k
MG - 84 (usually around 600 credits, its 50400 credits)
HG - 96 (as i remember ~10k, its 960k)
Binding of barrier - 25 (should be around 10k each).
Approximately 1,4m

Can't remember who to credit for this picture, but it has been posted before. Had to save it myself because searching for it was a pain. After level 5 you need bindings and after level 25 it's always 6 High-Grade and Coruscating Catalyst, rare tier armor always needs the rare material. You are right about the cost of upgrading, buying equipment is usually relatively cheap compared to upgrading, even more so with rare tier armor.

You will need lots of High-Grade Wood. Nice shield you got from the auction by the way.
