I'd love to see the max stats for shade and kevlar. I don't have excel installed on here unfortunately (and it won't work for some reason if I tried).

For Shade you can refer to the second to last page of the maximum stat thread.
I can collect some data on Kevlar, but I'm not really sure what people are interested in. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
I'm assuming Physical Mitigation is a must, but what else?

@miala, use the DB and make very good use of the filters. you can compare almost *everything* with the database. i think the thread even teaches you how to use filters

@koudesu, what about open office? i thought that's compatible with excel (not 100% sure)

The problem is that the database is not flawless.
The data on Plate is seriously incomplete, same goes for Shade IIRC.
EDB values are pretty much spot-on, though (mostly because people often post on the forum when they get a good Phase piece).

Preferably, I'd be looking for some kevlar of negation just for high physical defense and a good resist rate.

That database has an .xlsx extension. My Office version is XP. And yes, I cannot unsee those BRAND NEW SHINY BUTTONS AND LOTS OF STUFF THAT WILL MAKE YOUR EYES BLEED and so on.

Office XP should be 2003, which the service pack in the same post should address (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Or do you literally have Office XP ie the version before 2003? Try open office? ^^ I think it'd probably be more powerful than office xp

There is literally NOTHING bad about the database, imo. If your value is higher than any other in the database, that's a good sign considering the amount of entries

Is there any benefit to IW farming over GF? I use a level 300+ Exquisite for IW, but the XP is lower than what I get at GF, plus GF gives credits.

I don't even come close to leveling up this Exquisite. It's 328 and I tend to get forced out around 100 due to mob power.

Seems to consume the same amount regardless of where you are on Great status. I think I'll stick with my current method, which doesn't consume much stamina at all (Jumping in and out of grindfests on IWBTH (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ).

Just to confirm: IW only uses less stamina if you're between 20 and 79 right?

Above 80 stamina, it seems wasteful to do IW instead of GF because the credit bonus has no effect.

yes, grindfest used to give much less exp
