QUOTE(Koudesu @ Aug 26 2011, 21:22) I'd love to see the max stats for shade and kevlar. I don't have excel installed on here unfortunately (and it won't work for some reason if I tried). For Shade you can refer to the second to last page of the maximum stat thread. I can collect some data on Kevlar, but I'm not really sure what people are interested in. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I'm assuming Physical Mitigation is a must, but what else?

dammit tiap. give a man a fish and he eats for a day. teach him to fish and he'll eat for the rest of his life. there was a reason why i didn't just spoonfeed 4.19 lol
@miala, use the DB and make very good use of the filters. you can compare almost *everything* with the database. i think the thread even teaches you how to use filters
@koudesu, what about open office? i thought that's compatible with excel (not 100% sure)

Everything, minus the MAG Absorb.

The data on Plate is seriously incomplete, same goes for Shade IIRC. EDB values are pretty much spot-on, though (mostly because people often post on the forum when they get a good Phase piece). QUOTE(buktore @ Aug 26 2011, 21:45) Everything, minus the MAG Absorb. Too lazy. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I'll probably just do Phy Mit, Mag Mit, Evade and Resist.

Physical mitigation, physical absorption mostly, but I'd also like magical mitigation/absorption and evade. Preferably, I'd be looking for some kevlar of negation just for high physical defense and a good resist rate. QUOTE @koudesu, what about open office? i thought that's compatible with excel (not 100% sure) I tried that as well, doesn't work. I think something's screwy with my registry. Gonna have to reformat the computer sooner or later :/

That database has an .xlsx extension. My Office version is XP. And yes, I cannot unsee those BRAND NEW SHINY BUTTONS AND LOTS OF STUFF THAT WILL MAKE YOUR EYES BLEED and so on. My husband keeps saying that he wishes for Win98 to stay forever.

The act of using kevlar and not care about STR, DEX, and specific mit bonus.. is a serious crime and punishable by law. QUOTE(Koudesu @ Aug 27 2011, 02:52) I'd be looking for some kevlar of negation
There's no such thing.

I never actually looked at those stat bonuses much. They aren't actually high enough at my level to actually make much of a difference anyway.
And well, is there any kevlar variant that provides a decent resist rate?

I think PA bonuses share the same base roll range, but does the same apply to DTM? QUOTE(Koudesu @ Aug 26 2011, 22:11) I never actually looked at those stat bonuses much. Office XP should be 2003, which the service pack in the same post should address (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Or do you literally have Office XP ie the version before 2003? Try open office? ^^ I think it'd probably be more powerful than office xp There is literally NOTHING bad about the database, imo. If your value is higher than any other in the database, that's a good sign considering the amount of entries This post has been edited by dcherry: Aug 26 2011, 22:48

Is there any benefit to IW farming over GF? I use a level 300+ Exquisite for IW, but the XP is lower than what I get at GF, plus GF gives credits.

I don't even come close to leveling up this Exquisite. It's 328 and I tend to get forced out around 100 due to mob power.
Alright. I'll stick with GF then.

Seems to consume the same amount regardless of where you are on Great status. I think I'll stick with my current method, which doesn't consume much stamina at all (Jumping in and out of grindfests on IWBTH (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ).

QUOTE(dcherry @ Aug 26 2011, 16:26) IW is lower stamina consumption https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=37240and is currently the only way to level up items I should really read the release notes in their entirety some day. Just to confirm: IW only uses less stamina if you're between 20 and 79 right? Above 80 stamina, it seems wasteful to do IW instead of GF because the credit bonus has no effect.

I'm not sure I get the wording in that one
"The stamina drain in the Grindfest was increased, but it now gives the normal amount of EXP."
Does this mean that grindfests were not giving as much experience as before this update?

I see. On a side note, how good are these?I've been holding onto them for a while, but I'm kinda clueless at cloth gear.
