QUOTE(scrateur @ Jan 15 2016, 11:35) You guys have tips and tricks to lowering t/s on mozilla?
Lower the browser priority and allocated processing core/thread in the task manager. Additionally run cpu stresstest while playing the game. Oh, run folding@home if you don't feel like wasting electricity (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) --- My t/s was definitely slower when I was compiling ffmpeg using full cpu power. QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Jan 15 2016, 14:35) That's odd. It's counter to what would be predicted based on mob mitigation stats. Could it just be variance and random numbers? Noooo (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Yep, that was my first thought also. Average isnt very good for stuff like that, but i dont see many reasons to have so big difference between holy/dark. It can be affected by ladder type damage with rapier. I mean because pa stacking it could be good/bad in hp relation. 1. Tanky class is weak to specific element. Maybe its not so good, because with 3pa stacks we deal high damage and simple get overdamage. Or it can be conversely because high damage we also get higher bonus damage from elemental weakness. 2. Feeble class is weak to specific element. Same here, lower amount of pa stacks can be good/bad. Lower main attack damage can be compensated by elemental damage or conversely without stacks we lose high elemental damage. 3. Population. And if we look at mitg then weak classes to dark is celestial (low hp, ~9% population), humanoid (low hp, ~8% population) and sprite (low hp, ~4% population). For holy its daimon (low hp, ~6% population) and undead (tanky with ~9% population). It might be reason. For wind its avion (mid, ~3%), dragonkin (tanky, ~10%), giant (tanky, ~17%). We can see first possibly reason - population. For holy its only ~15%, for dark ~21% and for wind ~30%, but main part is tanky monsters.

Noooo (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Yes variance is quite big actually up to 200 turns sometimes. But its safe to say for ele strike dark>holy, cold, wind, elec>fire. And holy is not as good as dark.

Well, celestials, fairies and humanoids all have low hp values. The only really weak mobs to holy are zombies and diamons. Undead have have high hp values, but not that common, since they are very weak to both fire and holy, while if instead of an undead you had a giant or a mecha you would still have high physical performance with less elemental weaknesses. Unlike previous levels that i was fighting all the time the same and the same and the same giants, now i see a little bit of everything (if anything elementals and humanoids are a bit scarce). I don't know if i can consider dark as stronger versus holy for normal monsters though. I would say that both are relatively useless, but still holy a little better than dark, exactly cause ALL the monster that are weak to dark don't have enough HP to require an elemental weakness anyway.

QUOTE(scrateur @ Jan 15 2016, 18:01) my best advise is, dont use FF, consider Opera ( constantly 3,4-3,8 t/s for me there ) or chrome like many others say also only a limited scripts, which you really need - Hv stats definetly not

QUOTE(scrateur @ Jan 15 2016, 15:01) Use an entire brower completely dedicated to HV. I use Firefox and Chrome in ordinary web browsing, so I need a third for HV. Iron has built-in support for userscripts, without memory hogs like Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey, so it's what I've been using for HV.

Random Encounters and arenas. Also get some adept learner training in. So, does reloader only work on FF? I have no experience in altering scripts...

Thanks. If Ive done the arenas for the day then would grindfest be the way to go for xp while waiting for the next random encounter?

I think IW gives slightly more experience but it depends on the equipment quality. But monsters hit harder there, so I would just stick to grinding it out at your level.

(*) Adept Learner to 100-150 or more (*) Scripts/browsers maximizing your turns/sec (*) The 55 round - 100 round arenas (*) High difficulty, of course
