Oh so I only need PL 100 to name my monster? I sort of like the concept of the monster lab so I think I'll work towards PL 100 slowly.
Should I stick to being a mage? I kind of want to go with what is more interesting, but I'm reading and seeing different recommendations on how to start off. Haven't picked up a 2 handed weapon yet so I'm kind of wanting to give that a try next.

Not 100. 25. It's just a typo. As soon as your monster is at 25 pl you will see the option to rename it and as soon as you do it will be active.

You can play whatever you like. Every style works. Simply 2h/light is the fastest way to get to level 150-200.
The rest depends on your time and objectives for the game.
I would highly recomend to just go for a 2h mace however.

You can name the monster at PL25, no reason to go over it (unless you want lower morale drain).

you can lower agi a bit , focus on str , dex and end (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Its decent, base adb for mag non-slaughter rapier is around 30~35, urs 33.14, somewhat in the middle.
I would say, its sell-able, not very much, but still sell-able.

no DEX, which is among the other things the PAB with the highest roll on Rapiers. 20k? 30? not sure, it depends on its other stats...

The last one is a shield i bought for 15k thanks to izpekopon's recommendation, however now that i won't be needing it i might as well sell it. Don't know if the prize is good (considering the level and the block vallue) or not.

Magnificent Phase Cap of Niflheim. It's a normal phase with no prefix, so do i salvage it? (And is it actually a generic rule that all 2 pab magnificent tier phase pieces with no prefix are to be salvaged)?

No, because infusions aren't unlimited-buyable from the item shop like other "items". It's unaffected by coupon clipper (except if he actually checks the item shop and buys them for their much-inflated prices).

Thing is, when said yelling shop owner previously came into my freeshop not reading the rules and shit, I was nice to him. Yeah that kinda burns my ass when I think about it...

For the Mage playstyle is there an element that is "better" than the others or does it just come down to personal preference
