Yeah for that you don't have any advantage to go on anything harder than "normal" difficulty.

What's a good way to level up? Ever since I reached level 220+ my progress has been really slow. I am playing in Hell and entire arena runs might only get me one level.

The fastest way is playing the higher level arenas on higher difficulties while keeping stamina above 80 (Bonus +100% EXP).

QUOTE(Acer37 @ Jan 10 2016, 17:30) I currently play 1H Heavy and I have saved up about 5kk credits, but I'm not sure how to best spend them. Should I just buy materials to forge what I have or get better equipment? I thought about saving up for gold star, but that would take forever. Or should I just keep waiting until lvl 350 and switch to mage? I already found a few leg phase drops and also this Staff. Also, I already have IA I and II. 1HSHDhelmarmorhandslegfeetAny help would be appreciated. use all those EXP to keep your stats even and as higher as possible. QUOTE(formigao @ Jan 10 2016, 17:36) What ?
i only need to spam weaker to get Deprecating.
so i should jsu do it on normal ?
if all you need is to reach 40 prof to unlock Silence or 100 to unlock Magnet then simply slot 0-cooldown Weaken, go at whatever difficulty you want, kill all mobs except one and spam Weaken on that like there was no tomorrow. you are at the start, so gain will be fast anyways. keep always active a Mana Draught and use a Potion as cooldown is ended. MP gems are very useful, HP may shouldn't be needed and you can discard SP/channelling as soon as you see them. don't use Haste, or the burden on your MP Tank will be too high. no Spike Shield as well, since at low difficulties it will be enough to kill that mob. equip something like a waki of Battlecaster (for less MP usage) and a waki of Nimble for parry boost. preferably not a shield because of 1H's counters - which will surely kill that last mob. prefixes don't matter, since you don't have to attack and ITR is low on wakis. a couple of feathers are quite cheap though. as for armors, use Cotton of whatever. since you only have to boost MP Tank and Evade (just to be a little safer) you only need high Evade, WIS and AGI. if you're still within the MG materials, forge them to lv5 personally i think it's a quick, mindless and safe way. feel free to post your results. and prepare a good bunch of Draughts and Potions. personally i don't think it's worth to waste Elixirs (read: flee as soon as you should use one of them, replenish off-combat with Draughts and restart).

don't feed the trolls. someone who says a gear is worth 6-digits credits (which means anything between 100k and 999k ~ 1M) and you have to go at high difficulties just to farm 30 deprecating prof (starting from close-to-zero) isn't worth your time (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) This post has been edited by Scremaz: Jan 10 2016, 19:24

If you're planning to switch to mage sometime soonish then don't bother getting any better equipment since it'll be wasted - probably better to get VV. Otherwise, if you want to stick with melee, I'd wait until finding Power Slaughter to forge, because actuators are incredibly expensive nowadays. Yep, IWBTH will make things painful for no reason at all. QUOTE(Vilis @ Jan 10 2016, 17:05) What's a good way to level up? Ever since I reached level 220+ my progress has been really slow. Doesn't really matter what the setup is - probably 1h and something - as long as you don't have to concentrate.

Just one bit to add, since i found it out the hard way. If you don't have that many problems with keeping this routine up indefinitely, you also may want to advance every 500-800 turns, since the mobs start hitting significantly harder, the longer the round lasts (stealth patched with the last patch i think). Got one-shot on normal as i didn't have spirit shield up at the time (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

QUOTE(cichy133 @ Jan 10 2016, 18:51) Waki is the only weapon that does not want the "slaughter" suffix. They have different usages so all the others have their call, but generally nimble is the "best" and then we have balanced and swiftness, though once again they have different usages so one can want one more than the others. Generally a waki has low damage no matter what, so a little more power to little power does not make a big deal. You want to see critical hit boosts, protection and such from your waki. As for element ethereal is what everyone is looking for them, but thunder, wind, holy and dark can also be looked after, though a lot less. On W's auction there where 4 wakis with slaughter suffix last time. 2 hardly sold. Well, there are collectors as well on those (i know of one, though i miss the name right now... his signature indicates he is looking for them), so who knows. You can always manage to sell it. Auctions also have the "the heck with it, might as well get it" factor. And talking about collectors. Are you interested on selling me that fire shortsword of yours? I generally consider (THIS IS ONLY MY OWN EVALUATION) short/long swords as a 20k worth, but i'm offering 30k.

i know, i know. once i was on gelbo, saw this one and said: 'wow! nice asses!' (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) QUOTE(cichy133 @ Jan 10 2016, 20:03) Btw what gold star club actually does for you guys? I mean the forum section.
personally nothing. i looked at a thread once, trying to look at some "elitarian" shops for nice things, but nothing really. basically i looked at it for something like ten minutes. threads in this "common" section are way funnier. mud at the base of lotus or something similar. i managed to sell one or two wakis to him back then. but afaik his collection is almost full... [edit]: aaaaand i was right. out of all possible combos, only 6 missing. too bad for you, it would've meant 100k easy This post has been edited by Scremaz: Jan 10 2016, 22:53

QUOTE(Scremaz @ Jan 10 2016, 21:26) you guys are becoming too lucky (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) IW try... I play at PF everything right now since it's more than a month that i haven't seen a legendary drop (and the previous ones have been trash, trash and trash). 1st try: Overpower 2. Reset. 2nd try: swift strike 2. Reset. 3rd try: overpower 2. Reset. 4th try. i start with fatality 2, next IW goes to Fatality 3. 4th and 5th run... i don't feel very lucky right now...
