For Rapiers of slaughters, Emax is around 41+-, Mmax is around 44~45.

Emax The maximum value of an attribute on Exquisite equipment
Mmax The maximum value of an attribute on Magnificent equipment
Lmax, Pmax and so on..

Lets say u have an equipment and one of its stat is shown as E-0.21, it means that stat of that particular item is 0.21 below the Emax value for that kind of item.

every stat in every item has a specific range of variability due to its quality prefix: for example, you expect an Exquisite (which quality is higher than Average) to outclass a similar Average in all its stats - and so it is, since 0.82 patch. usually E values are comprised between S (Superior) and M (Magnificent) values.

with this being said, the maximum amount reachable by a stat in an Exq is called Emax, while the min is called Emin (provided someone even cares about this). Peerless values are simply the max of L class, given that since 0.82 a Peerless is simply a "perfect Legendary" - therefore P values are the top of the top.

And from what I've seen in the armor and weapon lotto, Peerless is not necessarily uber. Lots of stuff sails by there with few GP put into the pot for it. Fun fact, I've never seen peerless power slaughter or ethereal rapier in there.

Bad gear even with peerless quality ll be bad. But to have all maxed stats is very nice. Usually we use only few good rolls. For example staff with ~50 mdb and ~20 edb is already very good and its not so easy to find such. But remain part might be bad (prof, pabs, crit and so on) or better to say its almost always bad. If we can increase it to max it gives noticeably difference. Not vital, but some % exist.

Changing subject (in order not to explode in rage)...

I know that shadowdancer shades are looked out for, but this is only magnificent and with 3 pabs only. What would be a right prize to sell it? (already wearing a better one for my light armor... BOUGHT AT THE BAZAAR...).
