Depends how you define "regularly". Go down the list until you get to a PL where you stop recognizing most of the listed monsters as being battled "frequently". For me, it's around PL 1099 when I stop instantly recognizing monster names as having been seen many times before. I almost never see my own PL 1001 monster appearing.

Note that "appears frequently in battle" is quite different from "occasionally gets a win or two". It might take 10k appearances in battle for a win.

Problem is, crystal cost gets to be too much, and it takes literally years to pay back any monster over PL 250. I think it is not worth it.

For Rapiers of slaughters, Emax is around 41+-, Mmax is around 44~45.
That's unfortunate.

Ah. Well for me I hit that point at PL1076.

I get the sense that the more it appears in battle, the likelier I am to get something off it, even if it's not getting wins. Afterall, I already invested the crystals to get it to PL820 almost two years ago; what's the point unless I push it over the hump?
