It needs much higher pl to face high level player. For tokens its better to mass produce low pl monsters until you feel disgusting.

Is there a trick to getting the figurines for OFC?

Till now i havnt gotten a single one..is it worth saving up to buy from wts?(~800k for everything) or am i better of saving for IA2(~630k)

No, either you play a lot or you buy them.
I had 5 figurines drop since I started playing so I'd say buying them is the safer option.

Why 800k?
You need 21 to get OFC, so it should be ~600k if you open a WTB.
Anyway, they are both very important, maybe you can start with IA2 and get OFC later, maybe you will get a figurine drop or two in the meantime.

Pre-0.82 it wasn't even a consideration as willows after the proficiency change were usually worse than redwood in every way and 90% were trash rolls.


Willow vs Redwood now:

Counter resist is better for imperil than for vastly increasing dmg. So its useful in grindfest. A great willow will only have like 2% better dmg overall compared to a good redwood.

Redwood has more support prof so the heal is a bit bigger.


Ice vs Electric
Electric has an extremely slight dmg advantage after the electric debuff, and Ice has a defensive debuf that is good or average depending on your gear.

in terms of damage a willow electro mag might have a slight advantage but at the cost defense. Wind has willow and a defensive debuff. The defensive debuffs make a big difference in clearing the last 200 rounds of grindfest.

The electric debuff was balanced all the way back before extra accuracy gave you counter evade...

Dark prof robe is all right. It won't sell for a whole lot but it's more than worth saving or sending to an auction.

As for the others... untradable gear can't be sold, and Superior is too crappy to be sold.

Boots are OK. Since you probably won't feel much of a desire to change them until 300+, go ahead and soulfuse if you have extra fragments. (But having a good soulfused rapier is more important, so do that first if you haven't)
