Now that u mention it, i think i've seen more LSWD around than LHKD.
That would make sense.

Mag shade with no prefix, maybe you can sell it at 20k in a WTS.

yep, that's a good investment. past a certain level IA1 and 2 are mandatory, and 3 is highly suggested. more only if you mage, i guess

as for choosing spells, personally i go with Shadow Veil / Haste / Spirit Shield when DW, and Haste / Spirit Shield / Protection when 1H. but someone thinks Haste is a waste and Spark is mandatory.
do your own tries, but basically you should put in IA slots the spells you absolutely *have* to have on - with Protection having the lowest priority, to assign only if the other option is to leave the slot empty

Start with IA1, IA2, IA3, Vigorous Vitality. Postage Paid if you often use CODs a lot (as you should when answering a WTB request or if you have a WTS).

Honestly just getting back into playing, was like 290ish(dw) from ages ago and just restarted recently and changed to 1h/light atm while trying to make a decent heavy set.

Yes, IA1 is cheap and well worth it for anyone who plays more than a bit. Put in it a buff that you always use, and one that has a lowish duration. If you play on high difficulty, Spark is almost certainly the best first choice. After that is probably Haste, and then Shadow Veil or Spirit Shield (skip SV if 1h), and lastly Protection.

I'm guessing you just buy hath via the credit exchange? I also wonder at current values it's around 300k credits for 50 hath how long does it take someone in the 300+ range of levels (pretend you don't auction) to make that much money? I'm about 60k away from being able to buy that much hath but was wondering what kind of grind I can expect.

Also why a lowish duration (didn't see why on wiki)? I run protection 60mp/regen 112mp and if I proc a 1mp cast I will use haste. Would it have value to put regen on ia1 (my most expensive spell with my high compromise)

Mind you I'm 1h/heavy armor and have 136 interference so my mana costs can get stupid (keep draughts active to mitigate this issue)

get an estoc and leather armor. play all arena and GF at hell difficulty. you can reach lv 250 at ease.

after 250, you can search for rapier shield and superior/exquisite power/plate armor until 310,

after 310, you can go mage or stay at 1H. you decide.

if you bored, you can try other style.

With PF arenas only, you could get at least 3 times 60k in a day. A mage could get up to 35 cred/turn.

IA is good because you don't have to waste a turn every X duration the spell would otherwise have. Imagine the extreme case of a level 60 newbie forced to re-cast Haste every 20 turns - it really eats into your efficiency, each turn is a turn you aren't able to attack, plus it's annoying and takes longer than a standard turn. So low duration buffs are best for IA (in other words: not Protection). Spark in particular is great because you can both heal and have Spark of Life activate immediately, without a turn of vulnerability in between as you'd have without Spark on IA.

Regen and Heartseeker cannot go on IA.
