And attack speed, yeah. Evasion as well, of course.
Wiki's numbers of decrease should also be multiplicative i think.
Don't mind me. I'm still drunk from yesterday.

QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Dec 24 2015, 04:01)
I remembered about quite important thing. How fast monsters die. I think 4+1 kills few % more on first hit, because its more all-or-nothing way. Thats income damage reduction, so its something similar to casting speed bonus. Btw, not all mitg is important. Thats mostly why its so complicated and why i took real monsters/rounds in excel for damage check. For example, sprite has the weakest defense. If pl +- same then her mitg completely isnt important. Average resist, no hp, no defense or in other words even with additional mitg its equal to others monsters. Only someone like tsukiko can make problems, but not so much and specially with tanky monsters in group (giants and so on). Much easier in this case to check on practice few sets. QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Dec 24 2015, 05:11) Hmm. As you level up, how fast does monster HP/PMI scale, compared to player's melee damage? Assuming all else is equal (same soulbound equipment, same forge level/potencies).
If melee uses rapier, then damage scales faster. For example, 75-->80 defense has 20% difference, but after debuff its already 18,75-->20 which is only 1,5%.

QUOTE(atest1 @ Aug 13 2013, 18:02) Here is HV-Magic Scores 2.0.3.1 Now the aditional Magic Damage in Radiant phase and Spell Critical Damage in Mystic phase are computed correctly. CAUTION: After install this script, you must first visit equipment page before it works correctly. BTW, thanks for the help of Treesion, lltt013 and ddwiki (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

QUOTE(mozilla browser @ Dec 24 2015, 04:46) If evade and shadow veil is so horrible for 1h+power, should they also aim for burden = 40?
nope. basically: - BUR > 0 lowers Evade (maximum effect @ 75)
- BUR > 40 lowers Speed (maximum effect @ 90)
- BUR > 70 lowers Crit (maximum effect @ 120)
as you said, Evade is bad or at least you may want to control it via Shadow Veil since it lowers the number of Counters, so BUR *has not* to be too low. Speed bonus may be seen as double-cutting edge since it either lowers the amount of damage taken per turn and the number of Counters per turn, so maybe a compromise? eventually there's still Haste, btw Crit is the most important stat to check this time, so you *have* to keep BUR as low as possible. since we're speaking about 'high' and 'low' in their respective ranges, we see that the optimal is 40 < BUR < 70, with a tendency to keep it a bit higher to limit speed bonus, so i'd say 60 ~ 70 tl;dr: no. BUR ~ 70 offers the best benefits

QUOTE(nec1986 @ Dec 24 2015, 00:15)
Im using cap+gloves for 3+2. Thats mostly why i have gloves in 4+1. If you wanna very good result in future, then its better to aim from start for perfect slots. With new ranges i think its possibly even with gloves+shoes to get full 1,0 prof. Pants + shoes is ok too. But robe isnt very good. So, prof roll isnt very bad, but robe is bad slot for 3+2. Evade roll isnt good too. Overall i think if you wanna use 3+2 sometimes then its better to keep pants. Around 20%.
How would you get 1.0 with just gloves + shoes + prof perk? I'm barely getting 1.0 even after prof perk with my current robe+hands (might be level scaling as my gloves aren't soulbound). Oh I didn't realize cotton had generally lower evade than phase, nice to know. However, I don't see how robe will have a worse evade roll, since the amount of base evade lost from a setup of robe + shoes, and pants + gloves (they give similar prof) is almost the same. Robe + shoes/ pants + gloves both seem viable.

QUOTE(izpekopon @ Dec 24 2015, 13:10) If i'm not mistaken, have to open equipment link and press S for it to display. Some places u can just mouse-over the equipment and just press S. (IMG:[ emoticoner.com] http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/hehe-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862507) Ok it works. For my staff it displays +3240 score and for equipement pieces +5732 so I guess my magic score is 8972?

Not too sure, all i know is when i got everything equiped, i go the the Equipment tab and press S on my staff or armor pieces, it always display the same value for all, that value should be my magic score.

QUOTE(cirrux @ Dec 24 2015, 14:47) How would you get 1.0 with just gloves + shoes + prof perk?
I meant evade roll in exact that robe. And, btw, cotton has higher base pmi/mmi and crush, so i dont think its big problem to exchange one to other. Full prof isnt hard to get with new ranges. Wiki has old data and in new patch its higher. So you need good rolls in staff/gloves/boots, something close to Pmax (but probably lower is ok too) and forge it decent amount. With prof perk it ll be full 1,0 factor. But others slots is ok too. Its ideal build and to follow it means maximal cost. If you can get "cheap" forge with other slot, with almost any roll in staff and so on with almost same result, then i think its more than acceptable. QUOTE(cichy133 @ Dec 24 2015, 15:13) Ok it works. For my staff it displays +3240 score and for equipement pieces +5732 so I guess my magic score is 8972?
Usually that doesnt work very well. You can count it much easier as mdb*(1+edb)*(1+crit/2). So its only 3 numbers. Lets say 2000 mdb with 250 edb (3,5 in formula) and 40% crit (1,2 in fomula). We get 2000*3,5*1,2=8400. But also its not so important. We can use it as quick estimation. Lets say legendary phase to radiant magnificent. Its not so clear what is better. Or between destruction and edb suffix with same prof. We deal with different values, so we have somehow to check what is better. But also i can say if difference isnt very big then it doesnt have sense to change one to other. So magic score isnt very useful. Mostly i use it only as power estimation, because spell damage is magic score multiplied with spell coef and defense. So its quite easy to see how much it gives. I mean if 10k magic score hits for 50k then 15k in same conditions hits for 75k. Its visually simple and clear. And btw we cant compare it between players with different levels, because scaling. Only in one level range. This post has been edited by nec1986: Dec 24 2015, 14:48

who knows? if it's like the standard Christmas trophies it should be a Tier 8, thus at least a granted Magnificent. but you may end with a decent item as much as a Leather. personally i'd sell them
