Something that stands out about HV is that objective, optimal builds/equips/fighting styles/prices/etc can be determined with high confidence. Many other games are more complicated or rely on less controllable factors - randomness, twitchy reaction time, a large number of overlapping options (making finding the optimal ones much more difficult), etc. Also, in those games, from what I've seen there are quite a lot of people who think they have a decent sense of going on, but actually don't, which ends up only confusing newbies in the end. So even if other communities aren't toxic, they're often not necessarily that helpful.

Actually old games was better. They was simple, but interesting. I still play sometimes in cs1.6 or bad company2. Ive tried bf3-4, but it doesnt catch at all.
