Talking about prizes, when we are talking about mages anything not legendary is to instantly salvage?

Won't sell outside their salvage range, right?

The cap lacks int. The staff has mismatched prefix and type. Garbage.

personally , I only keep mag phase with charged/radiant prefix with 3 PAB (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

other than that , usually going to become HG cloth (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Rare or not, I don't think a 2 PAB would get any bid. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Honestly speaking, if the ADB is good on 2 PAB mag power slaughter piece, and if the level requirement is ~400, i would be willing to fork out ~250k for it.

Those that usually don't sell are the ones closer to level 500.

While writing this:

I want to quickly start trying out DW, but Snowflake is blessing me with wrong potencies and too little Amnesias. Last run of my Wakizashi went FFOFFFB, damn Butcher ruined it again and now I need 7 Amnesias for reset. Only 6 to go, at this rate I will get the Amnesias some time next year, hopefully before summer. I feel reluctant about trying DW without at least Overpower 4, because parrying is sometimes tough on my nerves even with 1H.

I have decent enough t/s, but my attack damage with 1H is waaay to low (5165 base) at the moment, mostly because I'm using light armor. For example it can take up to 15-20 turns to kill a single high PL high HP monster on PFUDOR with some parries, and that's with Spirit Stance and Heartseeker on. My attack damage is falling behind all the time as the monster health rises, which is starting to get a bit frustrating. I thought higher levels would make me stronger.

I was thinking, what is the minimum amount of Overpower you need for DW not to become insane with the monster parries (on PFUDOR)? Resetting Fatality 5 makes me irk, but I suppose even Overpower 3 wouldn't be enough?

There is no minimum you can always play with 0 op. For a target you can do 5op+whatever on main hand and 5op+no butcher on offhand. And If you use a club you dont need op.

You should start your iw in op so you dont get to situation like your waki.

my dw have 5 Butcher 5 OP 8 SS and it's quite fine too. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I know 0 Overpower is an option, but considering I sometimes get parried up to 5 times in a row with 1H without Overwhelming Strikes, it doesn't sound like a good idea. My main hand would be Rapier with 4 Fat 5 But. Only good Club I have is Leg Ethereal Balance, so it's not a good option.

Maybe I'll just go with it, at least I could get out of this 1H+light armor trap where my attack damage is rising slower than monster health (1 non-soulfused armor piece affects this too, replacement is coming when I get more Soul Fragments). Needing up to 10+ turns per monster doesn't seem very effective. I can reset the IW later too, if I get spare Amnesias, it's only 3 more at this point anyway.

fact is, custom monsters may be heavily chaosed, so you will always find a mob which will parry your attacks (pretty much like you parry theirs): let's say you have OP4 and feel like it's not enough. you reset and go for OP6, and so? monster will still parry/evade your attacks. better to go for damage boost. +20% crit damage seems quite a solid investment to me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

3 PAB Mag Phases, even if they have no Prefix at all, are not always "Insta Salvage" materials. Look for yourself, that Phase has very high EDB. If it was 3 PAB, it would have definitely sold for ~100k.

That Staff on the other hand, is trash.

Speaking of "good", but not "decent" equipment, are there any other ways of selling those than making a shop? I have some 0.81 unassigned and low level gear that might be usable for new players and random things like this Buckler with Mmax block that might be sellable. It's not like I was going to make a huge profit out of the gear I have, but I don't like to Bazaar/salvage gear that other players might use. That's why I send not-so-amazing gear to actions too, someone might find a relatively cheap upgrade, and I get some extra credits if it sells. I just don't feel like managing a shop either, even my WTB is enough work for me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I guess u could get people to proxy sell it for u (they list ur equipment in their store, if it sells they take a commission from u or something).

I open a WTS solely because i find it a waste to npc/salvage decent items to the bazaar. I prefer to list it in the shop in case people ever want that piece of equipment, maybe i could even make a slight profit from it.
