Anyway, I was thinking, given the fact that many <300 level players struggle to find good gear wouldn't be helpful it there were a low-level auction (20k start, no more than level 350-400 gear and possibly with max level for bidders).

Yeah, it bankrupted me, but ill forgive you (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif). I was kinda surprised you bid on it when you had bid already on a decent looking kite shield in aria's auction.

impulse bid on that kite shield, but then i rmb that my current shield's base block was about the same as that kite shield(difference about 0.5 block% and had END), plus i already sank about 10+ x DMM on my current shield, so i ended up trying for a force shield with higher block% and DEX/END. After losing that bid war to u i threw all my credits into buying DMM and upgrading my block% lol. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Many of you said that it's better to keep mobs at PL 25, but how is that achieved? Crystals raise PL and pills are expensive.

Equipping a crude katalox and all average/superior cotton protection.

About to doing crude-IW for grinding purpose, but I think instead of having to hover between IW sesion every 10 or so round, gf sounds like a more lazy friendly.

I really tempted pressing the Assimilator now - yeah I know it's wasteful since I already have another fighting style maxed. But post 150 prof it will seems taking ages to grind it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Oh, btw I found out that it's nice to start grinding for it when reaching 79 stamina, that way after reaching the end of the movie It'll net some positive stamina (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) spent 30 minutes to finish some arena on pf dif, fall back to 79, grind again 2-3 hours, 30 minutes arena, repeat until bored.

Or drop them if you have enough training.

Sure damage is important and wis/other staff. Its very sensitive stuff, because in reality we deal with high consumption/high restoration. So even slight changes affect it.
UPD. And sure lvl, because amount of cures quite closely related with it. For me even 6-7 full-cures is 1pot. In long run its big amount.

Right, no eco. 6.7 fullcures/potion for me. Armor forged to 12 wis on average.

Mana gems are very important. With enough base mana, gems + draughts can be nearly enough to get out of the red in terms of mana spending. Almost. It also helps to have low cast speed bonus.

Max level for bidders would be not advantageous for the sellers as high level players generally have more credits. Some players may not have too much insight about the value of their gear, especially lower levels, and may be perfectly capable of sending high value gear.

however i agree, it won't be that useful: apart from buyers' self-awareness or whatever, sellers wouldn't feed it with decent enough things, so most likely people would continue to resort to W and aria.

I have no idea how to appraise that staff.
Maybe super or nec would know if its good or bad.

It's on the lower end of "barely usable" IMO - stats are barely in the M-range, and prof suffix is worse than Destruction and EDB suffix. Only thing that saves it is the level - it's hard to find lower-level staffs with matching type/prefix/suffix, so if nothing else can be found with a low enough level, it might be the only option. The buyer would want to shop around.

Don't do it manually, use the Equipment Comparison script. If the type is good, then look at the stats to see their base ranges - look at the most important stats, like EDB, evade, and ADB. If they're in the L+ range or higher then it's definitely worth a decent amount. M+ is worse, but at your level L is uncommon so M-range gear is still desirable. E-range and lower is almost always trash unless the gear is very special, like Power Slaughter or Rapier of Slaughter or Radiant.

After you install the script, press W to see the equipment ranges, and you'll see those S-E-M-L-P stats. S = Superior's maximum, E = Exquisite's maximum, etc. So "L - 0.04" means that stat is 0.04 away from the maximum possible value for a Legendary equip of that type.

But, the script has not been updated for 0.82+. So the ranges displayed by the script are usually a little lower than the true ranges. Eg., the true maximum for Legendary/Peerless Phase is now something like "P + 1.6".
