4 + 1: Does prof slot matter? Robe looks tempting because it has highest stats and would mean much cheaper forging, though it means EDB loss.

With close to Pmax prof and 50 forge its better to use helm. Because some monsters still can have mitg (sg or high pl which appears often and can have same 75). Any exchange edb to prof as only counter-resist is bad. But difference wont be big in most cases (like 0,05t/round, its even hard to notice without much tests).

Staff is most important part and you can see without it i had to do instead 920 turns 1600. And i even replaced that with edb weapon. But stuns with 50+ evade, 60+ block and 60+ parry is huge defense. Without cures its much easier and because now my damage isnt so big than many monsters was alive solid time. I mean with mage its something like unexpected play. Quite often its 1-6-someone else, but sometimes half can be even oneshoted and i look for other target. 1h play is conversely very predictable and with 1h+phase its mix. Even if monster was weak i could see his death before it happens. So overall difference was only 9-->11-12 minutes.

Yea, because this way weapons needs only for 1h setup i think waki of nimble is the best. Nice accuracy, nice parry.
Upd. But its not so good if mage is extremely powerful. Good elec/holy mage clears in 7-8 turns instead 9 as me. Also its not very good for mp (same gems/drops, but in higher amount of turns). Not so big problem, because we can always buy from shop, just higher consumption. So overall its interesting, but i ll continue to use my ordinary mage set. Im doing only arenas and its not very hard to use cure sometimes. Its still can be good for rerolling melee to mage, because phase isnt very expensive and lvls is very important for mage`s defense. At the end the only weak sides of it is only slightly lower clearspeed and more mp pots usage. But its also not something very fast. I showed result with ready solid mage set and a bit forge. Its not something what can be done even in 1 week. Specially good prof items.

well, nekokon asked about an intermediate between melee and mage. you actually built a tanky mage, so i geuss it's pretty much alright, isn't it? *shrugs*

I didn't expect it to take that much more turns though Q xQ Just as you said, the more geared (compare to the arena/grindfest you're doing) the less viable this build becomes, since the magic attack bonus from staff would take bigger portion of your total magic attack, but it would be a nice transition from melee to mage (aka starting maging in pfudor as soon as we can grab full set instead of grinding up millions of credit and waiting for a perfect pieces for years O xO)

Repair your stuff first. Every rob except triple trio is easier to do than regular arenas, so you can easily do it on your standard arena - doing level.
Also you are quite unlucky with tokens. I got every schoolgirl rob already done on about 100th level :x

Example. I'm looking for a "Legendary Leather Breastplate of Protection".
If i put all this in the search and pick WTS it will give no results.

Even if i was to use "Legendary_Leather_Breastplate_of_Protection" still nothing.

Now this was an example, but mostly multi word search does not work for me. Is there a way to make this work?

I think the better drop trainings are quartermaster and archaelogist, and you should upgrade scavenger/lotd only when the next level of quartermaster/archaelogist is a few times that of scavenger/lotd.

Its quite unlikely to get anything good from shrining those trophies (unless u feel really really lucky) so i prefer to sell them to the ppl who want them in the WTB section.
As for artifact, its worth about 15k credits each, it has a 1 in 5 chance to give u an energy drink (worth 65k at the moment) the other 4 options
2hath(worth 2*6300=12600, u lose about 2400c in value),
+1 Stat (can't put a price on it). the last 2 options are what u don't want to see,
1000 x crystal (u lose big money) and lastly the last elixir (worth ~1000),
its pretty much a gamble with these trophies and artifacts.

Either try ur luck with it, or the safer route is to just sell them in the WTB section.

agree , charged is 2nd most wanted prefix for mage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
even some rich mages prefer charged than radiant (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

If you're unsure at all, just play on Normal. The schoolgirls are a pushover anyway, but it's not like there's any chance of getting anything good from them. RoB's useful for the first clear bonus only, until you get to FSM.

Most of mage's firepower comes from phase, just like power armor but on a much bigger scale (up to 300% damage, not just about 30 40% damage like power armor), so taking off the staff won't have that huge different.
And I already know that build will have weaker damage, but the huge increase in defensive might worth the trade off. It's not an endgame build whatsoever, just a temporary fix for people having trouble here and there (can't find good equipment, switching from melee to mage,...) just like how you use protection armor if you're having trouble surviving as melee.

Its more like you lose 50% dmg, because mage damage is mdb*edb, but melee is just adb+adb.

Ive been wondering for a while, does it really matter which Elemental Strike you have on your weapon, ecxept on SG arenas? what i noticed that its maybe 1000~ dmg difficult between dark/holy and the others, doesnt sound much but its still a lot in the long turn.
or are there any long wide stats that someone went thru to check this?

also, what Potencies should i give a Waki for Niten . Overpower and Fatility?
