You get less exp when under 80 stamina and its physically impossible to get that low on your level after doing arenas only.

I do random encounters aswell but I never lose.

Nothing is weak against slashing, but heavy is weak against crushing. So go for crushing.

Cloth also has crushing mitigation now, but that's unimportant except for high PL monsters (and it's not like monster defenses have an effect anyway in that situation).

I'm a fire mage and I clear arenas on pfudor/nintendo just fine. I guess imperil makes every element pretty much equal.

If you're ever in much danger of getting Sparked, having Spark on IA saves you an additional turn when it happens, as well as letting you Cure that turn as well (and you're not in danger of getting down to 0 again and dying the turn you Cure if you get really unlucky).

Otherwise, or on low difficulty, Haste is great. SV is bad because 1h doesn't want to evade, and protection lasts a very long time naturally so it's also low priority.

I think most ppl would agree with IA1 haste, IA2 either spark of life or spirit shield.

I am kinda doing it on IWBTH difficulty since I managed to make it to round 50 but I had mouse melee on so I didn't cure T_T Would you say Haste is better than Spirit Shield and why?
