QUOTE(Void Domain @ Nov 20 2015, 19:18) Humanoid is just not good. You want monsters with high hp (giant, undead, Arthropod) or high attack (Celestial). Or maybe Dragonkin and Mechanoid they are something in between.
Therefore? It's useless? No strategy? It's just broken? That's dumb.

Just like Blind, Drain (most of the time), shortswords, Vampire/Illithid/Banshee, Metabolism, forge level, and so on and so fourth. Many things are "just broken", and yes it is dumb, blame 10b for not having enough time or desire to balance things.

Thats not rly true. Humanoid has higher base attack damage than celestial, sprite, avion and elemental. Also quite strong mp and sp attacks. Dragonkin has in 1/3 lower sp damage than humanoid. Usually any class has some good sides. But few indeed has too many good sides.

QUOTE(stryker115 @ Nov 21 2015, 05:44) I have 200 hath
which perk should I buy?
Innate arcana is super good. I'm getting ia3 in few days and will probably get 4 or even 5 later. And after ia I'll definitely get +hp perk, then moar crystals perk. This post has been edited by cichy133: Nov 21 2015, 10:44

I already have IA3 anyway
then VV, no doubt QUOTE(crazy3d @ Nov 21 2015, 08:06) I have some humanoid (mob). It is not very good at collecting stuff cause it doesn't win very often. Name: Yulia Lipnitskaya. Stats: Plvl421 STR+10 DEX+9 AGI+9 END+11 INT+6 WIS+8 FIRE+20 (25) COLD+22 (27) ELEC+20 (25) WIND+20 (25) HOLY+19 (23) DARK+0 (-25)
Maxed the stats requiring chaos tokens.
I wanna know: What crystals should I invest and upgrade to make it better? Or should I just start a new mob? What's the correct build for humanoids btw?
you can either choose between bringing it to PL1000 or so or start another mob, bring it to PL25-50 and go with another mob - to rely on 3-days gifts. after having spent a bit of time on few mobs, personally i discovered that a bunch of small fry is way better than a small amount of strong ones

1/3? But the wiki says the power of Dragonkin's SP attack is 100, so does Humanoid's. (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/UpvVSUt.png) This post has been edited by djackallstar: Nov 21 2015, 12:04

still, humanoids' SP attack is quite versatile and even their base stats aren't that bad (maybe a bit low END). they don't seem so bad on the paper...

Wiki is wrong, Dragonkin sp can be phy/magic and piercing/crushing/fire.

You can salvage equipment of Average and lower quality. Make sure their sale price is in the 101~150c or 201~225c range if you want scraps to not cost more than 75c each. You can get energy cells from salvaging rare equipment (force shield, phase, shade, power armor), but I'm unsure about how profitable it is (I haven't looked at it yet). As for catalysts, the only way to get them is to buy them from the item shop. 1H, 2H and heavy armor yield scrap metal, staffs and shields yields scrap wood, cloth yields scrap cloth, light armor yields scrap leather. Repair when the condition is at 51~60% or 76~80%, with 51% and 76% being best. You can use HV Conditionner to repair your gear directly through the Equipment tab. (For more scripts, look on the wiki.)http://ehwiki.org/wiki/The_Forge#Salvage

This was true when catalysts were required for repairs but I believe that it is no longer the case.

agree (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) best time to repair equipments for me is when those weapon/armor damage appear (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Hmm. Then, if we had any choice of damage type apart from void, ie. (physical|magical) and (piercing|slashing|crushing|fire|cold|wind|elec|holy|dark) for the monster, which is generally best?

Except zero resistances, unlike any other mob class.

True, but they also along with beast have the least weaknesses, at least according to the wiki, only a light weakness to dark. Everything else has multiple weaknesses either in minor or mixed across minor and light.

I think its phy piercing, good against shade and mage. For heavy armor, they usually run with 1h, which cant be killed anyway. Yet most dmg incoming is crushing, I think giant is just too good.
