I have no idea how you guys manage to get such high speeds considering debuffs every wave and healing every few turns + refreshing draughts and pots. I guess hv work pretty slugish on ff, because after every click I have to wait 0,5-1 second before server registers my action. I have 70 ping, but still I have to wait annoyingly long time for server response. I can try using opera, but are mods from ff available on opera? I'm using spellspam, hv counter plus, riddle limiter plus and hv statistics tool.

are you perhaps not using hotkeys for your items? Im using HV stats slim mod, Mousemeele, HV cooldown, HV counterplus and Monsterlab babysitter on Opera with the Addon Violentmonkey and i really dont know how its supposed to be the slowest browser of all.. its abnormal fast for me ;o This post has been edited by Fap.Fap: Nov 13 2015, 14:37

I actually click items every time, because I'm usually using my left hand to pet my cats when playing hv :3 God damn I'll get mad if my lags are really caused by browser.

Thats main reason when ping is ok. With pressed down any key (like D for defend) it should be ~4t/s.

I was doing rob with just lmb clicking as fast as possible and got 1,2 t/s. Am I the only one using ff to play? If not, please share your speeds.

Try disabling HV stats. You'll be surprised by the gain of speed. What does counter plus do? Also, when I talk about speed, I mean peak speed, the speed you have by holding a hotkey. But even if you mean overall speed, yours is kinda low. This post has been edited by Dan31: Nov 13 2015, 15:17

Counter plus registers my speed, exp and credits gained after arena is done. How do you measure your speed when holding a hotkey?

QUOTE(nobody_xxx @ Nov 13 2015, 13:34) i don't have it as well. apart from the fact that browser is an octopus that installs a tenish services for autoupdating itself and doesn't let you customize fundamental features like cache size, the only thing which i may really need from it may be the 'search with Google' option on images - for which i could even accept less script support than Firefox or the lack of mouse gestures which Opera has. but since i found (or better, some kind user on this forum suggested me (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ) an extension that adds that feature on firefox, then i don't see any valid reason for it to exist. worse than that, only Safari - but only because Apple is quite annoying when it comes to advertising (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Do you have a hv only firefox? Firefox should be as fast as chrome.

Yeah I never tried other browsers. Gonna try chrome and opera later. Also I'll disable hv stats, because that might be the case of lag. If I'm clicking fast enough the game registers my clicks for few seconds after I stop clicking, so it looks like a browser fault. This post has been edited by cichy133: Nov 13 2015, 16:20

Good question. Other extensions may slow you down considerably, Adblock in particular since the one extension people always need is an adblocker (I'm using uBlock which I find much better btw).

Oh you were talking about other extensions. I have like 15 of them. That's another thing to turn off, good point.

I don't understand how can you play mage that fast, unless you skip imperil all together and only spam spell O xO I mean, you would have to cast imperil, then check which one resisted, recast again on that one or others, repeat until all or certain monster are debuffed (so you have to take the time to check their name as well) before attacking. How can you do it faster than 1s per turn Q xQ ?
Melee is different since I don't have to check for debuff and can look for prioritized monsters while stabbing another, so basically I don't stop attacking unless my buff ran out O 3O

I used FF to play HV for a long time. I used to think it was fast. Then I switched to Iron, and never regretted that decision. But I still use a separate profile of FF solely for the forum and Galleries. (Which I'm using right now) QUOTE(Dan31 @ Nov 13 2015, 18:45) What does counter plus do?
It shows you your T/S upon finishing any Battle. QUOTE(Scremaz @ Nov 13 2015, 19:14) i don't have it as well.

May be a perfectly clean FF is as fast as chrome. But don't forget that FF doesn't support native Userscripts. QUOTE(cichy133 @ Nov 13 2015, 19:50) Yeah I never tried other browsers. Try "SRWare Iron" browser. That is currently the fastest browser for playing HV. And in case you're wondering, yes, it does support Userscripts. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by tetron: Nov 13 2015, 18:20

QUOTE(tetron @ Nov 13 2015, 17:19) You don't use Iron? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) nope. portable firefox. i tend to get bored pretty easily, remember? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) so every now and then i stop playing and look for some cleavage - reverse search is quite useful for this, and Firefox with the right plugins is like a swiss army knife. i can bear with a few minutes loss, but not being able to look at busties would be a real drama (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
