Is there is any penalty for playing normal difficulty for a long period?

QUOTE(djackallstar @ Nov 13 2015, 01:12) imo a better way is to follow Cats Lover's advice: play Crude-quality Item World at PFUDOR (with a 1% condition staff if possible, so that every monster takes more hits, to save Energy Drink)
QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Nov 13 2015, 01:50) IWBTH > PF. HP is the same, and damage taken is much less. Damage done also can't be too low, or it'll take too long, and past 1000 turns even in 103 PXP IW on IWBTH, the incoming damage starts getting unbearable.
Couln't we just run away in the first round when the last monsters almost died to save energy drink ( fleeing the round didn't counted to the stamina usage if I remember correctly) so do when reaching past 1000 turns, running away is always an option, right? I mean, what's the harm?

I mean, what's the harm? You can, but it feels dumb to me. It also means more button micromanagement (rather than just killing everything and mousemeleeing on to round 2-10). Stamina usage isn't important if rounds already last hundreds of turns. Assume 1 round = 900 turns = 300 seconds = 1/50 stamina. During those 300 seconds = 5 minutes, you've gained 5/60 = 1/12 stamina. You'd barely be slowing down your stamina gain rate, and certainly wouldn't be losing any.

I think everyone knows this problem... everytime I attack a mob the whole screen flashes and attacks my eyes instead (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) is there a way to fix this perma flashing ? maybe a script to deactivate it or something within the browser? Im using the latest version of Opera I noticed that FF doesnt have that problem.. but that browser is extremely slow.. ( i have only 2 tabs open so i dunno why.. ) i hardly reach 1,5 t/s with it

Meele for life (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I guess as a mage it wont be thaaat noticable since u dont need to attack that often to clear the round This post has been edited by Fap.Fap: Nov 13 2015, 11:07

QUOTE(Fap.Fap @ Nov 13 2015, 09:58) I dont really want to use FF.. and i have no idea how to make the script work anyway^^ Meele for life (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) You really should try it anyway. Get Firefox + Greasemonkey extension, select "Add new Userscript..." in Greasemonkey menu, type "Reloader" in the name and namespace fields, erase everything in the text editor that pops up, copy/paste the script here, save, and close the editor. Test the script by entering a battle. The particularity of the script is that it uses AJAX to dynamically replace elements on the battle page to save up on rendering time. The entire page is only loaded at the beginning of a round (and whenever you reload the page, should you do that for any reason). The script also provides a hover-to-attack function (that auto-disables itself when HP/MP/SP is low), a show-gems function (+ click on gem icon to use) (script not by me), will disable buff/debuff blinking (otherwise an unending setInterval loop will run, which can slows things down, which is especially noticable on older computers). Battle log is disabled (again, to speed things up), but will still show the end-of-rounds rewards. Due to how the script works, you can't use it with most other battle scripts unless you include those directly inside (advanced), so keep that in mind. Maybe I'll add support for Chrome or Opera one day, depending on how hard it will turn out to be. Oh, and the script wasn't made by me btw, the original script (handling the AJAX part, which is the core of the script) is from nihilvoid, and my additions are but a small drop in a glass of fine wine. Thank you, nihilvoid, thank you so much. One day, maybe HV will natively have AJAX for battles, which would be even better (though all battle scripts will likely need to be rewritten). But it has not even been announced as Soon™ unfortunately, only listed as a possible addition.

yes its faster but, Im missing the round counter, the battle log.. its only shown for 0,001 secs after the round and dissapears instantly ( i wanna see what i drop :/ ) also would need to move hv counter plus in it, cos i like to see my time needed / credits earned at the end. and no cooldowns are shown.. another script that has to be added its also a bit stucking sometimes ( typical FF ) and the symbols / the words, font size overall within looks kind of shabby/small compared to opera.
but if u ignore that the script is good for increasing the speed^^

Btw can anybody give me for free 2 crude staffs? Preferably low lvl ones. Cuz I can see only superior+ on bazaar. This post has been edited by cichy133: Nov 13 2015, 12:28

I'll note all that for possible additions. You can modify the time before going to next round easily, just change the time on line 198 from 500 (ms) to a greater value. CODE setTimeout(function(){window.location.href = "http://hentaiverse.org";}, 500); Round counter is displayed in the battle log at the beginning of a round.

0.62 t/s seems kinda bad. What do you want those staffs for? If you want to train staff prof, just pick any staff, go naked, get defeated a few times and bring the staff to 1% condition. Then use the staff for your prof battles.

its a horrible time ^^ but i have the same when using Firefox.. tho with his Reloader script it goes maybe to 2,5 - 3,3 if the feeling was right which i was having while using it ^^ couldnt see it anywhere afterall you should really install Opera and just try it once to see the difference in your speed, since you live in Poland you speed should easily reach 3,0 t/s or a bit less.. depends on you

Nah, opera is usually very slow. And yea, 0,6t/s is very low. Well, its usually quite hard to get more than 2,5. Maybe max ~3, but its very tediously to play much in this speed. But im not sure, usually my concentrated playstyle is around 2t/s, because as i remember hellfest clear is 6000 turns and i did it a bit faster than hour. I think its because many target changing. In sg arenas i can get even 3t+, and thats probably because main time we deal with bosses, who is stable tanky target with low damage, and against it i probably have 4t/s. With some mix final result lower, but its still much higher than fast round clears in 6 turns. In this situation we spend many time just for look who is alive. With 1h i could get 3t+ in any mode and in sg it was even 3,5+, but 1h is very uniform and calm style. Usually i just played in background with it and speed was still very high.
So you shoul just use something like spellspam and good rotation for it.
