QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Nov 10 2015, 12:33) I think I'm seeing a pattern. Players have something useful? XP boosts? GF crystal income? Monsters? Equipment scaling? Remove it and force them to buy it back if they want it.
Fun.
Yep. It is very much like taxes. "L'art de l'imposition consiste à plumer l'oie pour obtenir le plus possible de plumes avec le moins possible de cris." --Jean-Baptiste Colbert

QUOTE(Dan31 @ Nov 10 2015, 12:32) Thinking Cap is more or less the continuity of Adept learner maxed in terms of price (maybe cheaper even, I didn't do the math). The other exp perks seem way worse on the other hand.
yup. if you take a look at that, every subsequential perk (i mean, also IAs, Repair Bear etc etc) offer step by step the very same boost but costs raise in a linear way: long story short, every further step is way more expensive than the the first one. maybe it's even a bit cruder than the exponential thing, but it seems to work anyways... QUOTE(Epion @ Nov 9 2015, 18:38) Would like to ask a monster name evaluation. There is the rule that states: Now here is my monster's list: Initially i was planing to make the "-san" army (hence the cyborg girls who's name i can't change for free), but then i swapped to the "miniskirt wearing XXgirl". More spicy (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Up to this point no problems. Question on monster n.3 and n.9 No.3 I have an elemental with fire attacks. Now for me a slime is a basic elemental no matter how you see it. However a slime i think was always considered something weak against fire and strong against physical attacks. In your opinion is this one inappropriate? No.9 If i consider Morrigan from Darkstalkers the games description for "daimon" is on spot. Well i know about demons... not daimons so... it's still a weak to holly monster. It's not out of the rules, right? 1.Its better have more monsters than increasing they atributes? 2.The monster level means that is gona fight against a diferent level player? 3.I want rename my monsters name, but it cost tokens. I can rename for free after some time (how much days)? thanks guys!

2. yup. usually higher PLs mean that the monster will face more powerful audience = higher-level players 1. mind you, monster lab can be very expensive and it's a very long-term investment: if you don't have the funds to make your monster(s) appear daily in battles (and still...), i highly suggest you to use tokens to simply create new mobs, upgrade them to lv25-50 and go for the 3-days gifts - it's still possible to earn bindings of slaughter, phazons, actuators and so on. meanwhile, while in between unlocking another slot upgrade Scavenging as high as you can 3. nope. you can rename it for free only if the PL of your mob is under a certain threshold, which should be somewhere around the 200 PL range

Fun.
And equipments get stronger, so players need to upgrade their sets, spending credits/haths. I mean, isn't one of the reason why HV exist to generate a negative income for the users?

Well that depends on your priorities. I get "dem urges" every now and then to hunt for heavy loot (good staff) but then i remember i'm fine the way i am and go spend my millions and millions of GP on sane and sacred fapping material (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Well it should be the second most rare artifact anyway so it's not that hard to miss it. On the personal note i feel it's the contrary though, but i convinced my self it's just bad luck.

Speaking of which, I got Crys-I recently, and I found the all too common advice "Crys-I is garbage" to be utter crap. For it's price, Crys-I is very good. Crys-II+, however, is a different story, because of the new Crys-V.
