QUOTE(Epion @ Nov 4 2015, 20:34) Shield comparison and equipment suggestions requested: Nice new shield! Although it's only 2 PAB, you have the best ones - it's missing Str (underwhelming due to diminishing returns) and Agi (useless). The new shield's PABs are higher as well. Pmit and Mmit are a tiny bit lower, but that's OK. So the real comparison is: Force shield: 1% higher block Buckler: 30 less interference, much much cheaper forging If you're going to continue with 1h, it's a no-brainer. Use the buckler and forge block to 10 or more if you have spare funds. You'll get a huge defense boost. While force shields have a greater ultimate potential due to higher block, that's only if you forge it, which is too expensive at low levels due to DMM; credits required per increased block % is a lot higher with forged Buckler or even Kite - unless the player is planning to forge to 30 or more (or something like that). As for your gear in general: it looks like your main limiting factor is funds. This is just a guess, but - stamina 95? - if stamina > 80 is a regular thing for you, you'll get significantly more credits per time spent by playing the non-SG arenas on a difficulty low enough to stay below 80 stamina (if possible). Only after the normal arenas are done are the SG arenas a possible option, if your goal is income (but that usually means you should've played the normal arenas on a higher difficulty) - SG arenas take ages and give very little rewards. If you want to sell trophies, play on Normal or Hard only (unless you've already finished all other arenas on PF and still have more time you want to spend). QUOTE(Nekokon @ Nov 4 2015, 20:37) I think OFC is best used to clean normal monsters instead O xO Like, build up OC before the round end > stance on next round at full oc and probably overwhelm buff > OFC to kill everything but school girls > kill school girls safely. Exactly.

For the stamina... I'm mostly limited in terms of time (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) There are days that i get several free hours and then i go for the high arenas at high difficulty HOPPING to find a good drop, that might sell at an auction and get me credits, but there are days that i get occasional breaks only, so i do RE only... or nothing at all. In an average day, I usually go for ED at hard and few RE. That's also why i'm leveling up so slowly. If i have some more time i do TT&T at IWBTH. It takes me approx 35 min (plus has token drop and better exp gains than the rest). I go for SG hunt at PF only when i have a lot of time AND the sudden urge to find my 5th legendary drop (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) This post has been edited by Epion: Nov 4 2015, 23:22

You get wispy catalyst for 100c from item shop. You get low grade metals from salvaging superior and exquisite 1h, 2h weapons and heavy armors. Also you can buy them from WTS section of forums or from item shop bot: http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Bazaar#Item_Shop_BotsBut I wouldn't recommend using upgrade option on such low level like yours. Better spend money on training. This post has been edited by cichy133: Nov 5 2015, 00:00

Catalysts can only be bought from the bazaar. As for low grade metal, you can get some from your monsters, as well as from salvaging superior 1H/2H weapon or heavy armor. You can also buy some from the WTS section. QUOTE(cichy133 @ Nov 4 2015, 22:58) You get wispy catalyst for 100g from item shop. When salvaging superior metal gear, you get 1x low grade metal and some scrap metal. Usually, you should try to salvage gear with a low resell value. If buying from players, you can probably find low grade metal for about 150c. By the way, before upgrading your weapon, you should ask yourself if you won't be replacing it very soon. If tomorrow you find a better one, your upgrades are kinda pointless. This post has been edited by Dan31: Nov 5 2015, 00:19

At your level don't try upgrading anything, it's just not worth the credit spent. There're step in gear progression: finding better equipments (higher grade/stats...) > IW to level 10 > upgrade stats.

Hell yeah, never leave home without it on Hell+. If I didn't, I'd have never made it to Round 70 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Do sg arenas have better drop rate? Because I can see a lot of people constantly talking about them.

For non-PFUDOR SG arenas, and for PFUDOR they have a slightly higher chance of a high quality arena clear bonus. Same for PFUDOR 110 and 125 round arenas. PFUDOR DwD arena clear bonus is a guaranteed Magnificent or higher. But high difficulty SG arenas take so long, even with good gear. It's not worth it unless the player has exhausted all their other options for the day - or is only playing the SG arenas on Normal or Hard.

Don't do it. Even with top shelf gear and the best of luck you will take at least 30 hits to kill one SG. One. And you will be up against 3 SG's in the latter levels. If you do three or four turns per second that's still quite tedious. Soul crushing tedious. The EXP gain also isn't stellar. It's mostly for the e-peen. If you want to do this, stock up on Flower Vases and Bubblegum to more than double your SG killspeed.

If you grind for trophies just do it on normal.

Three questions:
The Crystarium Hath Perk says you get 1-3-5-7-10 (depending on how far you upgrade the perk) crystals extra every time a monster drops a crystal. Is this per drop, or per crystal? ie, if you have Crystarium 1 and you get 3 crystals per drop from monsters playing PFUDOR, do you get an extra 3 crystals, or just an extra 1?
There's two separate notes on the Wiki where it says a Peerless has a one-in-a-million chance of dropping from a monster, and another one on the Difficulty page that says they don't drop until Hell difficulty. Are those both essentially correct (1 in 1000000 odds at Hell+) or does the difficulty truly not matter how low or high you go?
And finally one of Tenboro's notes say there's a tiny-but-equal chance of getting a Peerless from the Shrine no matter what you Shrine. Did anybody ever come up with an approximate percentage?

Yeah I did both sg arenas once on normal and I was like wtf is this shit Tenboro. Not going to do this crap again in close future. I prefer doing 3-4 earlier arenas on hell for drop and exp. Also i just installed spellspam and I'm clearing arenas about 30-40% faster. Awesome script. This post has been edited by cichy133: Nov 5 2015, 02:33

Hi, I'm quite new to this game and I'm a bit confused on what to do. My stats are below: (IMG:[ i.gyazo.com] https://i.gyazo.com/ef930fa45b31935f7d91a889509799ab.png) I have no weapons or anything, so far I have been doing a standard attack and using Cure. I don't know what item would be best to buy.
