100% positive? Cause exquisite which is just 1below Magnificent gives a lot less exp then Grindfest. Can't imagine such a exp jump from going up 1 quality, but then again it is quite rare.

A Superior on Normal gives me more XP than Grindfest on Normal, for me at least.
And Exquisite IWs give exquisite XP XD

Strange...I get an average of 6.3k xp per mob in Grindfest, while I average about 4.5k xp per mob in Itemworld (Exquisite)

Is that due to HV stats averaging it up? Maybe you're reaching further in the GF than in the IW? Further in = more 9 monster rounds = more average EXP

I'm basing my average off per mob, not per round. I figured average exp from each mob would be more consistent then rounds, since total of mobs per round varies.

Bah and that's why I hate the term "mob"

Some people use it to represent monster while others use it for the group of monsters

5.5k exp sounds *very* high. What's this average base off of? How big a sample size? At your level you run into LOTS of different monsters. The bestiary prior to level 150 is very diversified because the population of level 10-130 PL monsters is pretty damn large

Last time I checked I was getting about 25% more by doing Grindfest over my two exquisites

Well for example right now I just started a Grindfest IWBTH. Round1: Lvl122,121 13698.99 xp gained thats an average of about 6849exp per monster.
Yes I know the next time i kill a lvl 122 + 121 together the experience won't be the same. But in IW Exquisite, a group of 2 or any amount of monsters have never ever given me over an avg of 5k exp per monster

Do you remember the monsters' names? As I mentioned earlier, if you get lucky and fight 150PL monsters during your grindfests 2 monster rounds but only 50PL monsters during the 2 monster rounds of your exq IW's then there'll definitely be a big difference in exp gain

I've killed thousands I'm not basing it off 2 monsters >.<. I won't be writing their names down as that takes too much time >.<, but i'll give you more data on my runs while I do them now.

I understand how PL will affect exp gained from monster to monster, but it'll stay consistent within a certain range. So the difference of average EXP per monster that I see between IW(Exquisite) and Grindfest shouldn't be much of a factor. When I finish this run I'll do another run in IW to give you a small example of the difference between the 2 runs. If needed I'll continue keeping track of all my runs.

Anyways back to my question. Whats the XP difference between a Magnicent quality IW run and Grindfest?

I feel like I should know this by now, but what is the chance that an enemy will be affected by a status effect from an offensive spell (e.g., Searing Skin or Ripened Soul)? Is there any way to increase that chance?

Also, which stats do people value in Shade armor? What are the maximum base values for those stats? I just found my first two pieces of Shade armor this week and I can't really tell if they're Bazaar material.

Mmm unfortunately I'm not sure how the exp multipliers add/stack between difficulties/equipment/adept learner/auras etc but for me, IWBTH monsters can range between ~20k exp each to ~80k exp each due to a difference of 4-6x PL (lvl 150 vs 700+ PL)

In nightmare I've gotten 15k exp from 4 monsters while the next round might give me 60k from another 4

I didn't do any tests etc but the point is, I'm very surprised your exp range is so... small... especially with a 25x multplier coming into play

As for magnificent, not sure. Not many people own magnificents if I remember right.

e: @n125 I can't help you with the proc stuff I just know the spike spells have 20% chance
- The chance of triggering the proc from Spike Shields was increased to 20%.

As for shade gear, the Database should help you there

I always thought there was a minimum+maximum limit for that monsters you can run into, just my assumption since my I never really seen a big difference in xp from monsters.

Have you ever confirmed this and when was the last time you did? Cause I always assume it was normal for Grindfest to give more exp then IW to offset the stamina drain. While testing and seeing XP average per monster killed, it's quite obvious for me that the XP is much higher in grindfest.

This makes me sad. I am not able to one-shot mobs with my spells in cakefest. What could I be doing wrong, or is this sorta normal for a pure mage?

EDIT: I lasted for 78 rounds of cakefest before I ran out of pots and died. This just makes me feel more like I'm doing something wrong.

I didn't checked, but I understood this

The stamina drain in the Grindfest was increased, but it now gives the normal amount of EXP.

as giving the exp according with the monster's dmg, which probably means the same as an IW item with quality 1. (that's the max value a item can have)

So that means Legendary would give same exp as Grindfest? I'm confused ^^

Does anybody know the max EDB for EDB staves?
This is the highest I can find (8.07 Holy).
