Well, right now Non-Slaughter Rapiers can have ~39 Base ADB, which is good enough to be considered as a mainhand.

After visiting the item store, as i was looking the equipment one, i distinguished the words dagger and sword something in the first page. I didn't even pay too much attention and would have missed them completely if not for the scythes in the second page.
Immediately i came to the forum to give a warning call and then looked back at the bazaar.
Grabbed a dagger for the heck of it and closed there. Didn't really pay too much attention to the thing. In fact my reply at the forum came quite later and only later i found out that someone drank too much and trashed (bazaared) an item like that.
The word "Chucks" i picked it from the wiki, since i only remembered that there was a single "sword something" that was not one of the usual ones and was separated from the other ones (the empty bar above and below).
If i happen to see another one i'll grab it for ya, though it will be hard for something like that to happen again (and it will be hard to pass it as well).

This was evaluated as garbage when i first asked and i was told to salvage it.
Well i'm not gonna salvage it (since i swaped to DW and WAS using it), but i was wondering something.
Here we have the comparison of this sword and the lottery prize of couple of days ago.

The lottery item status are equivalent of my 280-281 level status and the other one is 266.
We had almost 9000 tickets sold for that sword, while 7,5k tickets sold for a fiery mace of slaughter that i would personally consider by far better.

items bought from bazaar aren't tradeable anymore. it won't be hard, it will simply be impossible to pass them - you simply just have to choose between buying it for yourself or to tell it to someone else

That was a very short lived loophole when the "Untradable Bazaar Gear" feature was introduced. Now it has been fixed...I still hate that crap. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

For a mage, defense-wise, is endurance or agility more important? Should I keep a balance or max one or the other?

They're both pretty useful, but Agi might be a bit better. Still, at higher levels, the marginal benefit of a few PABs is marginal, especially for those with diminishing returns (or diminishing returns with level gain like Agi), so a solution easy to remember is Int = Wis = Agi = End. I'm sure it could be slightly optimized further, depending on your gear/difficulty/style/perks etc, but the beneficial effect would be completely unnoticeable.

I'm debating trimming my Wis in exchange for increasing Agi or End. I'm not running into mana issues with my playstyle, but about every other item world I'll hit a turn near the end where I take 3k-ish damage in one turn and have to spend way too much mana recovering from it. Currently, I keep Agi and End even to my level and put everything else into a 50-50 split on Wis and Int.

Question about DW. Does the ability "Better Silence" count for the silence from Iris Strike?
