So, I have another question, since I am trying to level up my melee proficiencies now, I am wondering. Is it better to use Heavy or Light armor? I already have a suit of heavy armor, but so far, the damage mitigation seems to not have all that much of an impact compared to when I was a mage wearing cloth armor. I have more HP, but also take more damage due to more monsters landing hits it seems like. so, I am wondering if the ability to dodge is more effective defensively than damage mitigation.
It's kind of a trade off, on one hand you got hit less, but harder, on the other you got hit more, but weaker (~ ` 3')~
At your level evade is still a bit better than mitigation, but as you level up, upgrade your skills (mainly regen and protection) and gain more stats/proffiency from equipment, high mitigation plus regen sync up much better (regen will outheal the damage you received every turn, while high mitigation keeps you from being burst down instantly, compare to having to use cure everytime you got hit if you rely on evade since there is chance you will die next turn)
However around 250 - 300 your high level spirit shield goes quite well with evade style ( O xO), and around 350ish and above you kind of dump all defend for more offence power so it's not like you have to stick with only 1 style anyway. Just pick what you want and choose difficulty/arena/... accordingly ( ` 3')
I feel super helpful tonight (/ O AO)/ finally there's something I can talk about (Q xQ)
