Force shield has less burden, has both Dex and End, and much higher block. Only thing kite shield has going for it is slightly higher pmit - interference is unimportant, so use the force shield.

1. Stick to the forum.
2. Make yourself known.
3. Do 1 Auction every 1 or 2 week.
4. Make it such that it gets some attention. For example: Put the timer and link of the current auction in your signature and post in the threads where auction buyers visit.
5. In the beginning, since your auction will be new, it WILL have trust issues, hence it will not get any decent Gears. This changes over time. At first it'll get little to no attention, but if you are persistent enough, in time, people will come to trust you and send good gears to your auction.
6. In the beginning, you may even get little to no gears! To avoid such situations, always start an auction with some gears that you own. So search the WTS, get some good deals (or even your own drop if you're lucky) and put them up for auction.
7. Just for your info, there are people who does prefer to buy from auction, instead of WTS, because the price in WTS can be very fickle/absurd.

On a side note, as a very worn out veteran and now retired Ebay buyer (Amazon's superior selection and lower prices were only the last straw for me), I am quite shocked that ninja bidding and bidding wars haven't ruined the system here.

Even if we all hate each others and want to jump at each other's jugulars, the economy is quite fragile and people tend to be fair, if not nice.

In sitting here and thinking about it, the problem that endangers my dreams of running auctions turns out to be time. I'm already chafing at the time sink of doing the SG arenas...

I did 150K on one day this week and I do 100K per day regularly. 3M a month is something to be proud of IMHO; 6M is a bullet train of gravy on biscuit wheels and rails made of bacon (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
