In that case, bounty will be a better & easier source of income. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

QUOTE(tetron @ Oct 23 2015, 11:56) Hey, those don't count! They are catgirls! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) 1. Stick to the forum. 2. Make yourself known. 3. Do 1 Auction every 1 or 2 week. 4. Make it such that it gets some attention. For example: Put the timer and link of the current auction in your signature and post in the threads where auction buyers visit. 5. In the beginning, since your auction will be new, it WILL have trust issues, hence it will not get any decent Gears. This changes over time. At first it'll get little to no attention, but if you are persistent enough, in time, people will come to trust you and send good gears to your auction. 6. In the beginning, you may even get little to no gears! To avoid such situations, always start an auction with some gears that you own. So search the WTS, get some good deals (or even your own drop if you're lucky) and put them up for auction. 7. Just for your info, there are people who does prefer to buy from auction, instead of WTS, because the price in WTS can be very fickle/absurd. Thanks for the advice! Though my Japanese is ultra rusty and I know zero of Mandarin. On a side note, as a very worn out veteran and now retired Ebay buyer (Amazon's superior selection and lower prices were only the last straw for me), I am quite shocked that ninja bidding and bidding wars haven't ruined the system here.

Even if we all hate each others and want to jump at each other's jugulars, the economy is quite fragile and people tend to be fair, if not nice.

With Translation Bounty, that's very much possible. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) With Editing Bounty, that's impossible though. And with Standard Bounty, it's possible but it's too much work. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

proxy bids are a useful service offered by auctioners (or your buddies) since there are people from all over the world and no warranty that auction won't end on 4AM in your timezone. bidding wars happen and, oh well - all the better for both auctioner and seller. lastly, sniping is quite reduced due to extended times.

Yup. And besides, the community here is not as "toxic" as some other more "hardcore" gaming communities. People here are more sociable, and helpful. Which is strange, since this is after all an adult site. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I notice you didn't mention that it's good for the buyer. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) But yeah, everything is good if you're the auctioner. Except the paperwork. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) That right there justifies the 10% fee. But I have small business/bookkeeping experience so it's doable... in theory. In sitting here and thinking about it, the problem that endangers my dreams of running auctions turns out to be time. I'm already chafing at the time sink of doing the SG arenas... Then you are out of luck. Just so you know, at high level (Lv.360+), doing all the Arenas (Including SGs) in IWBTH/PFUDOR generates ~200k Credits. On top of it, there's RoB and GF. Even if you only play and don't hold Auctions or do bounties, you can make 6m (at the least) in a month if you're active enough. That's one hell of an income, don't you think? sorry, i'm not an auctioner so i don't know. though you can manage the starting list with an Excel spreadsheet, that's not a secret. iirc komica and D use(d) that way

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I did 150K on one day this week and I do 100K per day regularly. 3M a month is something to be proud of IMHO; 6M is a bullet train of gravy on biscuit wheels and rails made of bacon (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Is there any way to reduce monster's resistance to debuffs? Because my imperils are resisted like 3/10 casts.
