The highest that I know is 100m, paid by Jenga, for a Peerless Ethereal Estoc of Slaughter. So it'll be quite a sight if that rapier also reach (or even surpass) it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

If you flee fights do you get a penalty of some sort?
Before i would do my RE in PF and my arenas in hard and would find occasionally magnificent and a couple of legendary drops.
After training deprecating a bit (to speed up things after i finish my mana bar i flee) i haven't found a single drop above exquisite even if i still do my RE in PF and have done my arenas/IW in nintendo...

You just do auctions every week, advertise it. People may come to you eventually.
Look at k island's auction for example, if you stop just for a week people will leave very quickly.

you have to offer quality gears, have a reliable name to begin with and be patient - probably 3 or 4 auction will be needed for you to become a little renown.

So how do you become an auctioneer that people actually want to go with?

1. Stick to the forum.
2. Make yourself known.
3. Do 1 Auction every 1 or 2 week.
4. Make it such that it gets some attention. For example: Put the timer and link of the current auction in your signature and post in the threads where auction buyers visit.
5. In the beginning, since your auction will be new, it WILL have trust issues, hence it will not get any decent Gears. This changes over time. At first it'll get little to no attention, but if you are persistent enough, in time, people will come to trust you and send good gears to your auction.
6. In the beginning, you may even get little to no gears! To avoid such situations, always start an auction with some gears that you own. So search the WTS, get some good deals (or even your own drop if you're lucky) and put them up for auction.
7. Just for your info, there are people who does prefer to buy from auction, instead of WTS, because the price in WTS can be very fickle/absurd.
