QUOTE(Nekokon @ Oct 18 2015, 20:58) Guys guys, what should I do with 1m credit :3 ? Should I buy another 20 figurines for the skill ? Or train my Scavenger (currently 25)/ Luck of the draw (10) to max ? Or max Adept learner (141) and Ability boost (72)... :3 ?
I kind of don't want to buy equipment, since I want to try out mage after I got around lv 300 *hopping around the bandwagon* ( O xO) Your training sounds about right. More would take a moderate amount of time to pay off - it's a credit sink, so when in doubt, save. If you don't have IA 1 and 2 yet, they're worth it and are pretty cheap for something you'll have forever. Don't buy OFC if you aren't 100% sure you'll be continuing with melee in the future.

I almost forgot about it Q.Q Time to sweep the market and find a hath seller ( O xO)
Another question, when should I start swapping my stats from melee to mage ? I saw people said mage starts to get better after lv 300, but have no idea why.

You can buy (and sell) hath at the hath exchange. QUOTE(Nekokon @ Oct 18 2015, 23:42) Another question, when should I start swapping my stats from melee to mage ? I saw people said mage starts to get better after lv 300, but have no idea why.
You can max out Faster Imperil at lvl 310, allowing you to spam Imperil as much as you want while targetting 3 monsters at the same time. Imperil is very important for elemental mages, it greatly boosts the damage done.

You can start swapping your stats as soon as you're level 310+ and have all your mage equipment bought/found, IWd (maybe), and ready to use. Due to the exponential curve, it only takes a few days to fully change from any style to any style. Mage becomes better past 310 due to Better Imperil, as Dan31 said, in addition to: higher level players have more funds, and so can IW their staff to 9 (and maybe IW their armor for a few Juggernaut as well). They also have more funds than lower level players, and can afford to buy OK equipment. Also, simply due to the fact of being at a higher level, more high-quality equipment is available to be bought.

What about raising elemental/divine/forbidden prof? If I switch to mage mine are 75/3/2, respectively. With a max gain of 0.03 that's going to be an interesting game of catchup.

After a few hours, proficiency will be higher. To reduce mana potions / flee tedium, you might need all cloth armor and a Focus staff.

Proficiency staff as in what you use to bash monsters for proficiency O xO ? I think any staff would be the same, since your physical attack isn't that high anyway. You can also break it for even less attack :3
I just stumble on another issue though (_ _") How do you grind cloth proficiency ? I tried to wear full cloth and do crude IW on Nintendo, but the monster still hit so hard my regen isn't enough to keep me up, and 2 spells at the same time still kill me >"< Cloth has no ability that help with defending too.

I didn't mean about proficiency gaining. I just want to know what are the best pair of IW'd potencies that suit for a proficiency staff (of elementalist, heaven-sent, demon-fiend) As for your issue, just lower your difficulty will be better. It's useless to play at high diff. You just need mobs to hit you (in number of attacks not damage taken) And remember even you evade you still can gain armor prof. (so cast sv is allowed but no haste) This post has been edited by arialinnoc: Oct 19 2015, 06:07

Why is there difference between prof staff and normal staff? Shouldn't it be always pen and archmage?

Generally speaking, 5cr + 4mc, but also depends on the situations. A prof staff is mostly used for low-difficulty GF or non-SG arenas, along with a pair of prof shoes to max out the prof factor. In this situation, 5cr + 4mc is the best. 4cr + 5mc is also acceptable if lacking shards. If you have some Frugal-prefixed armor, 3mc would also be okay. I don't recommend using a prof staff in SG arenas, but if you don't have money for an MDB/EDB staff and you don't play GF often, aim for 5ar + 4mc, and cast MagNet on SGs so that they can't resist. If you play both SG arenas and GF at PFUDOR, get an MDB/EDB staff.

Do you use all available buffs? and Weaken and Silence? Imperil/Concussive Strike on all enemies but the last? Are you using Curse-Weaver/Earth-Walker gear? Are you using scripts? This post has been edited by Dan31: Oct 19 2015, 07:44
