You can cut that out, because credits have a static 20% according to the wiki.
Basically you roll 0 to 1 and then the system decides in three steps:
0 to drop_chance (0.135 in this case) resulting in a drop,
drop_chance to drop_chance + 0.2 resulting in credits,
drop_chance + 0.2 to 1 resulting in nothing.

Does anyone besides me have trouble replying to the forums due to a "guru meditation" or "no data received" error?

Hi!
Any recomendatios for my mage build?

I'm focusing on Wis-Int and End for survivality.
I recently got Spark of Life, so the game it's more interesting now =)
I can easily beat grindfest 60-70 with this build and some potions on Hell difficulty.

But there is something I can do to be better?

yes, go leather of protection + DW or mace. at your level is highly non-suggested to go through the mage route

however, if you really insist to do it the hard way, then i guess your element could be cold - since you have a cold-oriented staff and a niflehim piece.

• therefore, you should invest only in cold-related abilities: better smite, conflagration... all useless apart cyromancy. on the other hand, i don't see any of the cloth or staff abilities slotted - especially Cloth MP. no SP Tank as well.
  
• and again, cotton of protection is useless. curse-weaver as well, i guess. an earth-walker may be good to raise your cure bonus, but two are useless as well. ì'd keep only one of those and then buy a few niflehim pieces, otherwise you'd lose too much firepower.
  
• AGI is very important for mages since it boosts evade - which is your main safepoint.
  
• cold spike shield is useless if you use cold strike. fire spike will be way more useful since it would lower cold mitigation.

just FYI, i'm not a mage expert so i may have forgotten something - and i only gave a quick look at your ability tree, tbh (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

really, take a mace and some leathers and make your way until lv200. then start to switch to rapier + shield. at lv230 or so start to replace your armors with heavy power (protection and slaughter, if you can afford them). if you really want to play as mage, lv310 would be the bare minimum requirement.
this is the best way atm.

I never played mage at low lvl, but i think it wont work at some stage like 150-310 or ll work very bad. There are many problems:

With time monsters ll hit hard. I have negative sp draughts income on pf and it means powerful attacks with many cures. Without spirit shield its probably oneshots. That problem is usually fixed by damage. Kill half mobs in 1-2 turns and its much easier (actually mage probably cant even live if rounds is longer than 15 turns), but here is another problem. Damage means good (~expensive) set with forge and some perks, so its not rly possibly. And it also means some prof (and again forge), because without that monsters is too tanky and imperil has 0cd only after 310lvl.

So we have many problems for playstyle which probably could work at best on hell and lower. Much easier to use melee style and after 310 cheap-imperil-mage style.

Go to e-hentai.org every 30 minutes and you can get up to 24 REs in a day. Main gallery pages also generate REs every 30 minutes.

- you need lv 310 first
- you need a bunch of credits. tons of it. exquisites wont survive. deal with it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

If you really want to mage before 310, which you probably shouldn't:

Equipment should be as said in that post: probably 2 proficiency, 3 phase, as well as a staff of the right with a useful prefix and suffix. (For Holy, that means Oak or Katalox with both the prefix and the suffix giving either proficiency, EDB, MDB, or maybe Focus if you don't want to IW). Quality (Exquisite, Magnificent, etc) is 100% determined by your budget. Higher is better, obviously. Just don't use Superior (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Stats: Wis=Intel=Agi>End>Dex>Str is not a bad distribution, though really, it doesn't matter much.
