Snowflake gave me 18 EDs from 60 artifacts recently. Maybe you just need high quality, well preserved artifacts. You know where to get them... just 15.5k ea in my shop.

Is there anyone out there who still can "read" the market in WTS correctly? I wanted to proxy some gear to a shop owner I know, but I was refused by pointing out the huge stock in the inventory... I do not plan to open a shop myself, but I wonder what the heck is happening to the market...

As far as I see it, our beloved 10B destroyed an once working economy. Instead of price tags there are shops with "name-a-price", "make-offer", "pay-as-you-like" & "MM or PM me" stuff around. Pretty much gear is now restricted to people, who already have their gears collected (350+) and forged them to excess (450+).

Unassigned gears with a full PABs are rare on the market so below 300 players go for the free sections or use a new "rent-an-item" service. This nice invention even "frees" these people considering forging / soulfusing. So piling up level-assigned EXQ & MAG gear with not all PABs is senseless and working as the patch intended. LEG level-assigned gear is stocked like hell, but when looking at the market shop keepers have no idea how to sell them properly or how to sell them at all.

Only exeption seems to be auctions with a min bid attached to the item offered - mostly applied (only) to power armor with slaughter suffix. There the "known" prices are asked, but even there the indicators of dropping prices (10M for a body armor which used to cost 30M+) The "old" system of pricing good items suffered big time - also working as the patch intended.

So what to do with my pile of items (L375+) rotting in my inventory?
I started to salvage everything not having all PABs.
I started to salvage Legendaries which were sellable for 50k before the level-binding patch.
I salvage almost everything EXQ+. (Dont need the nerfed bazaar credits)
I keep non-assigned items with all PABs and "usable" collectables (Leg Gossamer, Kevlar of Protection)
I only keep items which have a chance to be sniped for 50k (aka "the min bid") at auctions.

So what is good gear to-day? I took some time to look through the WTS sections for indicators:
Weapons 1h: Rapier > Waki > all, prefix ETH > all, suffix Slaughter > Balance > Nimble > all
Weapons 2h: Estoc > Katana > all, prefix ETH > all, suffix Slaughter > Balance > all
Shield: Force > all, prefix ?, suffix ?
Cloth: Phase > all, prefix Rad, Mys, Fru > all, suffix elem > holy, dark > all
Light: Shade > all, prefix Agi, Sav > all, suffix Shadowd > Fleet > Arcanist > all
Heavy: Power > Shielding > all, prefix Sav > all, suffix Slaughter > Balance, Warding > all

But what interested me was, what is not sold at all:
Weapons:: Leg+ ETH Battlecaster, full PAB, 0.82+
Shield: Leg+ Force Battlecaster, full PAB (if exists)
So, people look closer on mana management and MagAcc on 400+ or is Battlecaster still considered crap?

shield > force shield of prot , buckler of barrier ~ make sure it have STR ,DEX , END
cloth > radiant , charged phase and cotton of prof

For shield prefix holy is best but whatever, protection suffix is somewhat important but still kinda whatever. The main thing is str dex end.
Battlecaster is crap just like arcanist, we have unlimited potions.

If you dont know how to price gear just auction them, hv market is so small anyway.
my way is like that useless gear in shop for 50k, mid tier go to auctions, good gear you can auction for quick money or put in shop for high price and/or find buyer in wtb. Also the leg gear thread is a good place to find good stuff, for both buyer and seller.

which script are you using? and besides, which database is that script using?
probably because it was widely shown that noodlies aren't so good. prices went up these past times because there was a revamp in tiers and no reliable datas were available, but imo they were overpriced before.

i'm one of those, for example. i'm not really able to read market anymore (if i ever was!) and my drops aren't all that good so i simply show my things and let market offer whatever they want. once i was also forced to lower their own offers because i felt bad to let someone pay 200k or so for a superior mace (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

but actually, probably i should only salvage 3/4 of what's in my inventory and keeping a few 1H, shades, powers and free section (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I'm not sure I ever saw such "economy" at work. It had always seemed geared toward high-end players.
Mind you, we could find some stuff below, and I used a few shops to do that for me or for friends, but that wasn't the vast majority of the sellings.

Problem is that leveled item is cool in itself, and the mechanics are interesting, but the downfall is that everything you loot get your level and that's were the problem is I think.
Maybe making loots being unnasigned until someone equip them might be the key, but I'm not sure if it's even possible.
