QUOTE(tetron @ Sep 19 2015, 23:08) Anyway, I have some questions: Nowadays I get around ~15 Tokens from a full IWBTH Grindfest clear, with a 2:3 Ratio (Chaos:Blood). I have no Tokenizer Perk.
1. What's the ratio for you guys? 2. And how many tokens do you get in average for a full clear? (Please mention the Difficulty)
Wait, token drops in GF depend on difficulty level?

In Nintendo Grindfest, I barely get any Tokens. But in IWBTH Grindfest, Token Drops are more frequent. The amount should be even higher in PFUDOR, but PF-GF as a Mage is a pain in the ass big time. This post has been edited by tetron: Sep 20 2015, 09:39

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) wiki is still good as introduction for newbies, who i believe won't bother to touch specific number & engineering level formula. Although tenboro himself stating that wiki is wrong is hilarious.

Hey guys,
What's the "best" armor type to use with 1h/Shield fighting style? I've been using light armor, but then I checked my stats:
Overall chance of getting hit: 21.01% Miss chance: 0.00% Evade chance: 49.06% Block chance: 19.51% Parry chance: 10.42% Resist chance: 0.00%
And it seems like I'm not blocking/parrying a lot, on account of a high dodge rate. Since the 1h counter procs on block and parry, but not evade (correct me if I'm wrong), would it be better to switch to heavy armor?
Also, what do you usually spend overcharge on? Is it better to go spirit stance, or use the cycle of skills that consume it? Does this change when you unlock Fus-doh-rah and/or the cannon?
Thanks.

You're right that Evade is not a desirable stat in combination with 1h. More evade = fewer blocks, fewer counter-attacks, fewer stunned monsters, less OC gain from counters. The other reason to switch to heavy armor is that, at your level, you should be feeling quite tanky enough just from your levels and AP. So you can start using mostly offensive armor - that is, Power and Power Slaughter, which no other armor can compare to. (More defensive-oriented armor, such as Plate, leather, and shade, just isn't needed to survive comfortably as 1h) Permanent Spirit Stance is generally the easiest way to go. Using skills requires too much concentration for me, not to mention it's just doesn't add to clear time. FRD isn't worth it because it means a flat 10% damage reduction for standard attacks, as well as not really doing much damage either.

indeed. 1h relies on counter-hits that follow block and parry procs. therefore evade proc (which takes place before both block and parry) takes off possible counter-hits/stuns. not only power armors bring your evade to almost 0, but also improves your mitigations and ADB if compared with shade armors. for the same reason, you shouldn't be using shadow veil (which boosts evade as well) if not in extreme dangerous situations. but still, with unlimited potions i'd rather resort to spark. btw, nice evade. is it standard stat or with shadow veil on? QUOTE(asdffdas @ Sep 20 2015, 13:51) Also, what do you usually spend overcharge on? Is it better to go spirit stance, or use the cycle of skills that consume it?
perma-spirit stance. every now and then OFC as well. skills only when i'm gioing against FSM (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) QUOTE(asdffdas @ Sep 20 2015, 13:51) Does this change when you unlock Fus-doh-rah and/or the cannon?
well, i unlocked FRD but after having tried it a bit i noted it's not so worth it, especially with perma-spirit stance. OFC can help you walk towards REs but heavily relying on it won't allow you to play a mindless berserk style, which is what many people (including me) appreciate on 1H. personally i use it only with a high number of mobs and when OC builds up naturally. no switch on/off/on/off...

theres Scavenger which increases the loot drop chance. so basically the chance for draughts pots etc increases right? or does that also count for weapons/ equipment? since Archaeologist increases the chance for equipment as the description says, but wouldnt say mean if I only increase Archaeologist and keep Scavenger low the chance for dropping equipment would be a lot higher then.

Per the wiki, it's best to have both high Scavenger and high Quartermaster for equipment drops.

QUOTE(tetron @ Sep 20 2015, 13:34) Btw, I'll repeat my question once again:
Well I got 11 chaos token in my last two PFUfests, I don't remember how many bloods I had before (I appears to be around 6 in the last fest). This is with tokeniser 2. 15/fest seems high with 0 tokeniser.
