Thanks, i thought so. I don't know how popular are elec mages nowadays, but it would be more valuable if it was of Heimdall or of Fenrir right?

1. In the "rapier of slaughter + wakizashi of balance" section, the part "The fastest and mode offensive" seems weird. Shouldn't it be "most" instead of "mode"? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
2. Also, you should add "Recommended for Lv.250 or below players" to "rapier of slaughter/nimble + wakizashi of nimble" sections. They are the best combos for low level players.

2. That's because they are not tough enough right? Instead of stating arbitrary levels which might vary depending on equipment, I thought that the offensive/defense hints would let them know what to try if they're dying too easily or finding it too slow.

Magic score doesn't take into account hath perks right?

Right. It also skips buffs/resist/mmi/mitg. But many of that is very situational. Main idea to use it for quick estimate between gears. It doesnt rly work between players, because magic score has huge scaling. 500lvl with forge can get 37k+. Same gear on someone lower can easy be 20-25k+ (if have enough credits).

It still can be used. For example i have similar formula in excel and i used it for planning. If we wanna compare 4+1 and 5+0 than we use something like score*(1-mitg). Its better if we also add a bit resist.

Right. I was just thinking that when comparing magic score (eg. as a prerequisite for clearing PFUDOR grindfest) this should be taken into account. ie, HD's over 23k score is effectively over 30k after accounting for Æsahættr.

Sure. He also has holy and its more powerful than elemental. The only problem its not linear. The more score you get the less clearspeed reduction it gives. And specially on high diff with imperil, because we cant rly affect it.

You can use spark for something like that. I used to it with mage, because mage can dye anywhere.

Spark didn't work because my spirit was too low and I was in between spirit pot/elixir cooldowns. The draught didn't get me to a sufficient level when I got hit hard again. The mobs are on yet another heavy hitter upswing.

Sleep (only affected one mob), spirit shield and SCROLL of protection. I got caught between cooldowns and at IWBTH these guys take a while to kill. They had a LOT of chances to have at me.

oh well, shit happens. btw, you can take use of the 'mind control' ability to raise both duration and number of targets for that spell. it's quite cheap of an ability and it also affects the 'confuse' spell, so i guess it's worth a try (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

If you're using heavy armor now and it's working for you, stay with it, it'd be easier than switching to light and then switching back again in 30 or 40 levels so you can use Power / Power Slaughter. But for lower level players I think Light is better until level 240 or so.

keep heavy. for the first times yoou may have problems surviving, then use power of protection/warding rather than slaughter - it would be cheaper as well, by the way (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Hi. I'm playing as caster and I wanna beat Real Life, but I don't know if it is even possible, cuz it has 95% magic res. I don't wanna waste my tokens on losing. Is there any specific strategy vs this boss or is it just spell spamfest until it dies?

1. do it on normal for the first clear bonus
2. not really sure as a mage, but as a melee it's quite easy.
2a. if you really want to go as a mage, yes, it should be spell spamfest. go with a staff with counter-resist and be sure to have haste, protection, regen and spark always on

Well I actually forgot about normal difficulty. Sadly I have no depre proffs so I'll train it for a while. Thanks for answers.
