Jokes aside it's been a while since I tested it out properly in terms of timing. So I'm gonna try it now.

BTW just did some testing on speed.
TEST1: Perma Spirit stance 5 rounds took 8 minute 19 seconds
TEST2: Shield Bash Vital Strike combo 5 rounds took 7 Minute 26 seconds

Each round had 2 SG, 3 normal mob and for some reason Konata appeared 4 times in the TEST1 and 3 times in TEST2
But really overall only a marginal difference (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) If any

Still I probably just like the placebo benefit (makes me feel better) watching the hp drop faster when using vital strike skill.

maybe you kill the creep first then kill the SG. thats why you slower.

creep is needed to sustain the amount of OC to make perma spirit stance

This is a good idea. They take ages, especially without good equipment, and even then, there isn't much chance that the arena clear drop will be a usable one. Only DwD is worth doing on PF, I think - "guaranteed Exquisite" for the other SG arenas just isn't good enough for the time required.

Why do I req to have less Agi for Heavy armor? Moreover, What is the point of having a lot of interference? Thanks

The benefits of agility: 1h/heavy doesn't want any evade (and even if they did, it would be nearly eliminated due to burden). Attack speed isn't that good of a stat, but even so, AS bonuses are significantly reduced with heavy armor. Offhand strike doesn't matter for 1h. So the only good thing Agi adds for heavy armor, really, is the additional physical mitigation - but the effect is very tiny. So, Str, Dex, and End are all much better.

Interference is not good, but it just comes with the playstyle of 1h/heavy, and is worth it given how much more difficult the other playstyles are.

Yes unfortunately that is the case but at my current equipment and stats I'm not really strong enough (defense-wise) to take on PFU arena properly. If I leave creeps on (at later stages) I have a chance of dying (a small chance but still there). Although my spirit stance is nearly perma on regardless, it just feels like my hit are like fly swats. Even though my testing has shown me that the skill combo is NOT really substantially faster, it just make me feel better when using it.

I think there might have been some post patching tweaks to drop chance in 0.83. When the patch started I use to get magnificent minimum for even IWBTH SG arenas and Trio and Tree. Currently I get even as low as "superior" on trio and tree, but on average I notice "Exquisite" across them last few arena on PFU. (I'm probably just glum because I'm on my unlucky streak)

You are right, they just aren't worth it . Still about 14 lvl before DwD for me. I'm hoping I can make it in time to do DwD in PFU to get the dovakin title before 0.84 patch just in case the mitigation changes destroys me.

nope , using skill is more faster than permanent spirit (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I need around 65 mins to finish PFU DwD with permanent spirit while I only need 47~50 mins with skill and OFC at late rounds ~ with my normal ping and my browser is normal too (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)



after power slaughter ADB get fix , it seem alot more harder for me just to get mag+ drop (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Hmm that is what I mean 15 minute isn't really too substantial but it does make a difference I guess. But for that extra speed it take more concentration to use skills. But then again I'm speaking from my perspective where I need to shave off a whole hour from even the first SG arena (i would hate to see how long I would take to complete DwD when I get there).

About drops you are not alone, went from 3 legs in a day and a leg per day after for a little while to barely even getting mags here.

I'm on my bad unlucky cycle here for drops too.

I do NOT recommend it, it pretty horrible in terms of block stats even for an Exquisite and the new 0.82 ranges for force shield are much higher, I don't know about prices though.

But in the end its all up to you.

Haha if your buckler got better block you probably want to wait for a new self-found, as I said the ranges on new force shield is quite a bit higher.

But anyway to shop from other player just look around the WTS thread in the forum look for the best price. When you find something you like contact that player using a post or mooglemail. And one last thing always ask for COD if possible because that way your credits are exchange at the same time as you receive your purchased item. Which mean you will have the power to inspect the item before deciding to accept/reject.

EDIT: Just realize I did a poor job of explaining trade but basically just read up on how to use mooglemail from the wiki, it probably explains it a lot better than I ever can. at your level i'd start looking for a rapier, a shield and some power protection/warding armors.
as for EXP, there were a way to automatically reassign them via console but i don't remember it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

as for credits, do all arenas you can do at highest possible difficulty.

[edit]: noted your low budget. light armor + mace may still be viable till lv200, but it will be more difficult

Not an expert so I can't comment on your build. Beside saying that 2h does not have very much defense which you will need after reaching lvl 200. Also note please assign you abilities again as there could be bugs if you don't.

But in the mean time you would probably want to read up the patch note (only the first page by 10B) for:
0.82 Patch note
0.83 Patch Note
to help understand the changes in the recent patches which kinda changed the equipment system a little bit in recent times.

Also credits is best farmed through clearing arenas.
Good quality equipment generally drops from Random Encounters and clearing an arena give a guaranteed equipment drop (read the patch notes for more detail).
Legendary starts dropping from Hell (never ever seen it drop from this difficulty but I have seen it from nintendo) and above.

1) What is the 'soul bind' option? Also, where do I get those forging materials?
2) Item Slot 1 has 'Health Draught' and Item Slot 2 has 'Spirit Draught'. When I try to put 'Health Draught' in item slot 3, 'item is already slotted notice comes up.
3) Random encounters come up every 30 minutes, right?

Edit: rfEH, what manner of unholy grinding did you do to get to that level in 6 months?

Sould Bind makes an equipment attached to you, untradeable and impossible to sold. It makes it "levels up" as it did before. Otherwise the equipment won't budge.
You can find Soul Fragments in Random Encounters and in the item shop (under the general tab), or through lottery but well.

All potions now automatically refill during fights, hence why you can't assign a second slot.

30 minutes yes.
