Maximum of 6 drops from dawn-to-dawn, not based on 24-hour sliding window.

For the purpose of the guaranteed drop, I view it as a counter between 0 to 6. Dropping a fragment adds one to the counter; passage of 4 hours subtracts one from the counter. So this works on a sliding window.

Does this match up with your observations?

So I guess the question is: what is the maximum number of guaranteed drops one can accumulate?

I think I had 7 soul fragments drop in one day at 0.82 patch (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

In one day = dawn-to-dawn (also the same as midnight UTC to midnight)? Or in your a day of your own local time (this is quite possible)?

According to how I described it, you will get guaranteed soul fragment drops when the counter is at 0 or 1.

You cannot guarantee 4 drops by ignoring random encounters for a long time, then play two encounters just before the dawn event and two hours just after.

You can, however, guarantee 6 drops in 6 random encounters by playing an encounter every 4 hours. Or playing 2 encounters every 8 hours, which is probably a bit easier.

Me, I just try to play every encounter I can. Doing so on mobile when necessary.

What I understand is:

6 is a limiter.
If you get 1 fragment, you can get 5 more.
If you get 2 fragments, you can get 4 more.

But that decreasing value will start a timer of 4 hours when it's less than 6, at the end of which it will get up by 1, then if it's still below 6, another timer of 4 hours start, and so on...

Now in a day, there are 24 hours. If you divide 24 hours by 4 (the time to wait for 1 possibility of drop to reload), you find 6, which is the limiter.

Essentially correct. You can set 6 in 6 consecutive random encounters, with a bit of luck, but then you wouldn't get any more until four hours later - and if you then keep hammering REs, you'd get one every four hours. But if you waited a day, you could get 6 in a row again.

So, at most 6 per day on average - though technically, you could get around 11 in a 24-hour period if you didn't get any recently.

Yes, I believe that is consistent with the mechanics I described hypothesized. Because what you could get isn't the same as what you're guaranteed to get.

too early to use estoc. try with a longsword (for high ADB) or a mace (for mass-stun). ethereal prefix preferred but not mandatory. slaughter suffix suggested

i personally suggest you to go with a full set of leather armors - don't mix cotton - but plate should be viable as well.

raise DEX and WIS; take a few points from STR if needed. AGI only if you go with leather, otherwise you can keep it behind - pretty much at INT's level

Legendary Power Slaughter? If you're rich enough to buy it, you definitely have the funds to make heavy forging worthwhile as well. If, of course, you get to the level where you can soulfuse so you can use it.

whats bugs,trouble me is how much could decrease this equipment to soulfuse it from 447 to 347... i find it interesting his high caracteristic but it got more than 120lvl more than me

Just use the scaling equation, or look at the tooltip to see the base stat value, and compare it to the base stat value of the equip you're currently using.

For A trading gold star to B and B trading credits to A:

Whoever is least trustworthy, if anyone, would best go first. (Or, B sends half credits at beginning and half at end, or something like that) Once A is willing to start the transaction, A acquires $100 in their bitcoin wallet by whatever means. B uses the gallery system to send A the E-H bitcoin address of B. A sends the bitcoins to B's bitcoin address. After some hours, once the bitcoin transaction has been verified, B will see that the transaction has completed. If it wasn't quite enough for B to get a gold star, repeat until he/she does. At end, B sends credits (if not all were sent at beginning).
