QUOTE(Dead-ed @ Aug 13 2015, 14:04) About soul fragment drop, how does it work? All this time i assumed it adds 1 to the counter in every 4 hours, i tracked everyday with 24 hours checkpoint but it seems doesn't work that way.
You use soul fragments to soulfuse your equipment. You get soul fragments from battles, typically from Random Encounters. Read more here: http://ehwiki.org/wiki/soulfuse#SoulFuse

Ah sorry, my bad! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I thought they dropped completely at random.

Was it not you get a maximum of six per day, but if you're unlucky and happen not to get one after a certain threshold it's a guaranteed drop? I forget how many hours that threshold is though.

that's the point. Maybe yes, but it's unstable. To track it, i played some re until the fragment stopped dropping + another some to make sure that i reached the cap (which means the counter reached 0 right?), then i used the last fragment drop as checkpoint. Which means until the next 24 hours i should get exactly 6 fragments right? Sometimes they come earlier, i used to gain some drop in 2 hours before the checkpoint. 1 is acceptable, regarding the 4 hours gap, but it was more which's strange. Today 2 fragments came late. Say, in 24 hours sliding window with 6 in counter, if i only do the last 6 re - it's not guaranteed 6 drops. If anyone notices any flaw in my method, please tell. So the count doesn't just reset at Dawn? That would've made the most sense.

After your guaranteed fragment drops, the threshold resets back to to 0? Meaning there's no guarantee you'll get all six back to back after the threshold. I'm guessing it's just a mechanism to keep one from getting exactly zero per day. I'm sure I'm wrong in all this though. QUOTE(Crush85 @ Aug 13 2015, 18:26) So the count doesn't just reset at Dawn? It doesn't, that I do know. This post has been edited by dosetsu: Aug 14 2015, 01:30

Maximum of 6 drops from dawn-to-dawn, not based on 24-hour sliding window. For the purpose of the guaranteed drop, I view it as a counter between 0 to 6. Dropping a fragment adds one to the counter; passage of 4 hours subtracts one from the counter. So this works on a sliding window. Does this match up with your observations? Hello! I've actually got a question about my equipment inventory. I'm pretty much maxed out on how much equipment my inventory can hold. What's the best way to make some space?
Should I sell the weapons and armor or should I salvage them for raw materials?

Salvage if you actually need materials, otherwise just sell it to the bazaar.

I have a question about salvaging soulfused items: can you do it at all?
I ask because the soulfuse tab in the forge implies that it can be done, but I'm not finding any method to do so. the bound item in question doesn't show up in the salvage tab. It is no longer in any of my equipped lists, so it's not that.
