Anyone figure any out about the monster bring you back items? Like what level they need to be for medium items and so on.

So you are rewarded more for not checking or caring if your monster is killing things or bringing back items for you?

Makes perfect sense.

I think you people misunderstood the only thing that increase quality of the gift is PL.
This:

is the chance in % to get a new gift.

And considering my Holy Bell with PL of 282 can give low grade stuff, and that's probably worthless material, we need to raise our monsters a lot to get something worthy. Plus apparently my lower PL monsters also gave mid-grade stuff, and bindings, so I wonder if it's best to spend tokens and create new monsters to get more stuff.

One of my monster that I just made gave me an item and it has never won a battle. So I think its just battles its in win or loss. Possible it could just be a random.

Well it's "based on" PL but still random. For example my PL 65 monster got me some mid-grade stuff a little while back. Mostly nothing when I check though (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Think of PL like LotD--it helps, but...

I think it's definitely a chance kind of thing with certain ranges. I just got some mid level cloth from a PL 32.

What determines the frequency of how often you fight certain monsters. Right now I've been fighting Bunko every other round (he's killed be at least 3 times when he crits for around 2k, damn you Bunko!).

Anyone know the full exp forumla? I am really interested since my exp gain from last patch seems to have sky rocketed and I have no idea why. Could be because all arenas at 1.0x now

@midnight i don't see why not. most people fight RL with bleeder/shield or bleeder/rapier. just be aware that RL will be significantly tougher than the girl before it.

@monkey/frosty. what elemental spells are you guys using? bunko gave me problems in the previous patches/when i was roughly your level but i've outgrown him now.

@ballistic9 that sounds more like an opinion question to me. i honestly don't see much use for soul spells any more now that all arenas have custom mobs (if i recall right, hito and them were clearing the big arenas with soul spells consistently since they were custom-less in the late arenas)

but naturally, most people have shitty forb prof since we get forb spells so late so i think demonfiend is a good temp until we get our natural prof up there. my dark set currently uses 2 demonfiends and 2 fenrirs (fought IPU with it) since i can't afford the godly fenrirs (demonfiend is good temp til i can, imo)

Cheers. I beaten RL in 379 rounds spending 6 godly mana pots on normal, don't know whether it is good or not (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

did you do anything special? I'll hit lvl 100 myself soon, and i'm wondering how i should go about defeating the gods.

Standard route? Spark of life, weaken, bewilder, regen, poison and stuff?

edit i should mention i'm 2H with an average of 320~ bleed damage per rounds (5~)

Constantly have RL bewildered, weakened and poisoned with my sear radiance maxed. I also used haste and shadow veil but not always on. Spark of life was used when RL was agitated. Hope this might help you.

@midnight that's good. i still haven't attempted RL myself yet. my melee prof sucks and i haven't gathered any god killing weapons to my standard. sucks that he's resistant to all spells (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ISO VOID SPELLS
