Why isn't there a "what is this worth" thread? Too much scamming potential?

If there was a whole thread dedicated to it it might be nearly as full of trash posts as the equipment thread. Level 180s asking about their Mag Cotton Cap of Protection etc... for those who have something worth checking out, this thread is probably better IMO. Price check posts aren't common anyway so I think it's OK.

0-150: 2h, probably. It has very fast clear. Lacking in defense, but you're not fighting any dangerous monsters so it's not something to worry about.
150-350?: 1h. A shield is necessary to fight high PL monsters without having to Cure too often. Massive boost in defense, as well as infinite Spirit Stance.
200-350?: As long as you're playing 1h, probably start mixing in Power armor once you feel that your defensive-oriented armor is providing you with more than enough toughness. By 300 or so you'll probably feel safe replacing everything with Power (Power Slaughter preferably). You gain innate toughness/clearing potential as you level, which is why players leave their ordinary leather or plate armor behind as they get closer to 300.
350?+: Mage, if you want. Depends on if you like the style or not, and what difficulty you like to play on. Cheap mage is very good for clearing low-difficulty battles quickly, but for IWBTH and PF you'll have trouble without good gear.

1h = one-handed weapon + shield

IWTBTH and PFUDOR are difficulties. Higher than Normal, which I hope you're not playing.

Play as high as you can. Nintendo is great if you can manage it.

I think there are many ways to play arenas. Im doing pf non sg for good gear drop. Actually i mistyped a bit. I meant my daily arenas+rob.
And fest diff is hell for me. I cant clear full any higher with my mage set without scrolls.

I got tired of getting Legendary unemployable cotton Xxx of useless, and was suckered into the trap of thinking... if that were phase instead of cotton, just about any variant of prefix/suffix is worth something.

So, I made the mistake of upgrade LotD a few levels. But, I still keep getting Legendary unproductive cotton Yyy of pointless.

My question for those with maxed LotD is: what's your ratio of rare to common?

I got tired of getting Legendary unemployable cotton Xxx of useless, and was suckered into the trap of thinking... if that were phase instead of cotton, just about any variant of prefix/suffix is worth something.

So, I made the mistake of upgrade LotD a few levels. But, I still keep getting Legendary unproductive cotton Yyy of pointless.

I'm sure the ratio is fine on a global scale which is probably where Tenboro does most of the balancing, but it's pretty shit on the level of an individual.

pretty sure LoTD only increases quality (i.e. leg, mag, exq, etc) and not tier.

Why? After patch i got few leg phase. Surtr shoes, freya and mjolnir pants. And also few cottons. Warding cap, another warding cap and demon-fiend pants. So for me its probably very phase positive.

After patch it increases only rarity. Wiki says.
Every quality rank has a specific base Rarity Chance.
Peerless = 25% base chance
Average = 2%? base chance
Fair/Crude = 0% chance
Armor Only: Rarity Chance is multiplied directly by Luck of the Draw training (up to +25%)

25% is probably increase for base chance? If leg has 15, than it should be 18,75. Im not sure about legendary chance, but i dont think its quite close to peerless, but probably something decent anyway.

Thanks. And wow, you've had 34 legendaries already, of which maybe 1-3 are more than scrap.

A lot more if you count weapons, but without checking, only 2 or 3 come to mind that actually have a viable prefix-type-suffix combination.
