Is monsters resist against debuffs a single Boolean roll that compares magic accuracy + counter resist vs resist?

Does debuffs get bonus counter resist from deprecating proficiency and does counter-resist stat from willow/potency affect debuffs?

Prior to 300 only bosses rarely resisted, now it seems slightly more common. How much more do monster resist at higher levels? Enough to warrant getting willow over redwood?

Thanks, but what makes LOTD useless? Does it not help with power, phase or shade?

I didn't see anyone answer your question, so I'll give it a go. Yes it increases your chances of getting those good equipment types, as you say. What it used to do was make the quality rolls better, i.e. make it more likely to get Exquisite / Magnificent / Legendary. So we started getting a lot more low-quality and suffixless drops when the new patch hit. That's generally unpopular.

Go to the Member List and click "Toggle More Options...", then set Post Count to more than 25,000 25,000 or more.

For a newcomer dark mage the staff is worth 50k ~ 150k + forge cost.
For the others the staff is worth 1x HG Wood + salvaged materials.

After training 2 more level of Archeologist, now I'm getting only "1" frigging Artifact from the entire Arena per day (Happening for 2 consecutive days now)!!! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Is it just me or did this happen to you people too?
Before this I used to get ~4-7 Artifacts per day from the Arena.

Yes, 50 levels above is just the point at which you can bring gear down to your level.

You can bring gear up to your level, but the cost in soul fragments rises if the equipment is farther below you.
