tbh forging also raises PXP for IW, but on a very little extent. it may still be useful to earn a level without doing IW runs though

Urgh, and I just bound and item-world' my cap.
Anyway, I just had an idea on a way to help monster trainers see some return on their investments, so that they'll continue to buy crystals, and so that grindfesters can make a bit of money selling crystals again.
If everybody goes into GF and flees immediately, 10 times a day, it'd take less than 30 seconds, doesn't cost us any stamina or equipment condition, and gives each of those mobs a win. Works?

10B added a cooldown some patches ago (30 min i think?).

Incentivizes the creation of PL 850+ monsters. Those who already have a lot of stock of materials and bindings to be sold would not like it, since its value would all go down moderately. Forging would become cheaper/easier for everyone. Those who have already heavily forged might not like it, though those who have not would love it. Those who have a lot of crystals stockpiled would profit moderately. The effect of the individual on prices as a whole would be quite low. It might be hard for someone to give themselves enough reason to care to do that regularly, even though it would be super easy. And if it caught on, it'd probably be patched out quickly (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Still an interesting idea.

Some people were already exploiting it not too long after monster lab was introduced giving monsters a lot of wins.

It's not absolutely clear whether the cooldown is on how quickly a player can count towards a win for each monster, or whether the cooldown is on how quick a loss by a player can count towards a win by the monsters in that battle.
But regardless, there's no easy way to test it and since the tenboro has indicated that this is not desired, there's no need to explore this further.

Some stuff that was originally planned has been bumped to later patches, not sure what. Some minor bugs and typos will be fixed in 0.83. Notably, Better Drain should work.
