Then your first priority should definitely be a rapier, for either mainhand or offhand.

I don't think waki's attack speed is worth it. It takes the same number of turns to kill monsters, very slightly reduces damage taken per turn, and slightly increases the turns you can attack before you have to cast rebuffs, but that's not worth giving up potentially having Penetrated Armor, even if a rapier is only Superior.

There are only 126 ways to do 5/4. So if you add them up for a melee weapon you have 1.5% chance from level 0 to 9 for 5/4
1.5% is pretty high chance in gaming terms (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
And if you reforge only for 1/1 its even easier

Lack of prefix means some 30% less damage than you could have otherwise, especially since you're not going to be IWing to 10. The effect on damage might be comparable to having (or not having) an extra Slaughter suffix. I'd say a weapon worth the trouble of buying should have a prefix, though if your budget is near 0, or if you're planning on leveling up quickly and replacing it quickly (you could probably get to 200 in a day or two if you wanted), I guess prefix-less would be useable.

i have about 20k on hand currently just nowhere to throw it XD and i'll be doing quite a good bit of grinding over the weekend.

I guess the issue with is that it
1)missing a prefix which reduces damage dealt
2)missing a PAB
3)Parry is average
It does however have relatively good weapon damage and the proc chance pretty good( not sure how relevant proc chances are cause apparently most proc occurs on crit)


I can't really say if it good or bad for DW since I know nothing about that style but I wouldn't use it for 1h since prefix damage is actually quite big chunk.

As reference about prefix I don't know how damage is calculated but I remembered a while back when hitting a mob, my weapon did like 8000dmg and the holy strike did like 5000 dmg. But I remember someone saying its like a 20% boost in damage.

Also if you IW to lvl 10 you gain another elemental strike or VOID strike which adds on pretty good chunk. Void damage is pretty good and the weapon hit noticebly harder. Then add a random infusion onto weapon to stack on another elemental strike. I see a lot of people do that to stack on the damage.

Yes, go to item shop and look for soul fragment for 20k a piece (very pricy better to farm RE unless you are in a rush)

well , you need more PA proc to monster so balance is better (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

slaughter give 80% damage ~ better than past that just give 50% damage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

you can start use slaughter when your lvl high enough to get more advantage from WD (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

in the end , all depend on yourself what you want to use (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

This. Holy/dark is better if set worth something (and mostly because mage is quite fast than its not big problem). But next patch can ruin it or maybe even all mage types.

Are they still 200-250k like they were before 0.82? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I had to buy 250 of them at those prices.

About 120k last I looked.
Still way too much for half a point of pab, each.
